The resort style backyard, includes a sparkling, heated pool with rock waterfalls, a ten person+ Spa, 4-hole putting green, outdoor pool table and kiva fireplace with plenty of outdoor lounging areas all surrounded by the towering mountain terrain. Pool heat is included but not guaranteed due to ambient weather temperatures.
All ages will enjoy the fantastic, imaginative game room which is furnished with a sit down MARIO KART driving machine, Skeeball, 2021 “Golden Tee” arcade, a two person 80's arcade with all your favorite classics, a bar-style dart machine, shuffleboard, ping pong table and a Corvette couch!
This impeccable, almost 5,000 sq. ft. family home, features luxury touches throughout. There is plenty of room to relax with all smart TV's, cable and high speed internet, or challenge your friends to a game of cards on the wine barrel poker table. Be your own chef in the gourmet kitchen, with its huge island, two sinks, two dishwashers, subzero, double oven, 6 burner plus griddle gas cooktop, and microwave drawer. Humming birds, plentiful native plants, and roadrunner families will greet you at the breakfast table out the large ribbon windows.
This stylish, sleek home, with southwest flair boasts both panoramic views and breathtaking sunsets, from every room. There is a master suite on each level plus a detached Casita that has a kitchenette, kiva fireplace, full bathroom and all only steps from the pool. Upstairs is also two Jack-n-Jill bedrooms (with their own vanities) plus another bedroom with a desk overlooking the backyard and a queen adult bunkbed.
Centrally located in the heart of Phoenix, you will be only minutes to the airport, shopping, dining, golf, casinos, nightlife and all parts of the valley, PLUS only an eight minute walk to the trailheads at Piestawa Peak!
The Happy Roadrunner is perfect for relaxation and making lasting memories for all families, multi-generational, and group getaways.

*Pool and landscape vendors access the home once per week and have access to the back yard

*Additional Pack & Play and Highchairs - $40 each
*Pool or spa heat is optional and an additional $150+tax daily. Note once a guest is checked into the property we may not be able to turn on the pool heater or heat to desired temperatures, your planning is key.
*Pool waterfall Feature is not available until further notice.
* Home equipped with guest occupancy monitoring device.

Summary: This property is in a great location and is large enough to accommodate multiple couples; however, it's clear the property has seen a lot of traffic with the amount of wear and tear throughout. There were a number of issues we had upon checking in (broken string lights, dirty pool, missing key to casita, non-working pool fountain with broken tiles...), which were eventually resolved by Porter (the company who manages the property). Despite the hiccups, we still managed to have a great time together as a family, while still having plenty of room for privacy. With a thorough deep cleaning and a few maintenance repairs, this property could be a 5 star property again; however, in its current state, this is a 4-star property with a 5-star price.

Summary: The house was exactly like its’ pictures! It is stunning with the wrap around windows providing incredible views, especially of sunsets! We never used the little casita, but it is adorable and adds to the backyard charm. We spent our afternoons and evenings after dinner in the hot tub and pool. Paying for the heating was clutch since our March evenings were very cool. The most remarkable thing is how attentive the staff is. They are very quick to respond. Our hot tub required a little work and a lot of chlorine, but they had someone there first thing Monday morning. I would highly recommend this home, and would absolutely love to rent from this company again! I’d like to see their entire portfolio! Thank you for a lovely trip! You can’t beat this location and privacy!

Summary: We booked this home for my father’s 80th birthday and family reunion over the Thanksgiving holiday. This was the best rental I have ever booked! The property managers were very responsive and helpful with the booking process, check in and patient with my many questions. The house is luxurious and well equipped for a group. The outdoor spaces and the view made our stay truly spectacular. We made so many special memories.
