Our guests love the careful blending of original art and mid century style with modern comforts. Only 15 minutes from the airport, enjoy our convenient central city location. Includes free electric vehicle charging with Level 2 outlet. (Must have own cable.)

Experience Phoenix - enjoy the beautiful changing mountain views at sunset, then turn and enjoy the twinkling city lights as the day comes to a peaceful end. Relax in this spacious 1st floor separate guest retreat and enjoy the beauty of Arizona from the cozy view patio or through the expansive windows showcasing the amazing views. Our location is also in a perfect central phoenix location, right off Hwy 51, for heading out to enjoy the various points of interest. Our rental includes premium high speed internet, Apple TV (and Netflix, Hulu, HBO, ESPN), two private patios, new modern kitchenette, Weber grill, and your own private contactless keypad entrance. We offer a quick informational tour on arrival and are then available by messaging for any guest needs.
LOCATION - Great central city location (easy SR 51 access) in a wonderful shady walkable resort neighborhood.

Blocks from entrance to miles of hiking paths in the Dreamy Draw Recreation Preserve. A quick 1/2 mile walk or bike ride to the canal entrance. Literally yards to Hilton at the Peak Resort. A short walk to several resort and neighborhood restaurants.
PRIVACY - While we reside in the upper level, guests enjoy a separate entrance, separate air conditioning and ventilation, and the entire 1st floor with private patios — a guest suite all to themselves. With no close-by neighbors, our place is an idyllic nature get away.
BIKE, RUN, WALK, WORKOUT - Enjoy a resort setting within the Hilton Pointe at Squaw Peak community with mature trees and cacti - a shady walkable community. If you enjoy walking running, or biking - our neighborhood offers a rare opportunity in the middle of the city - to enjoy without traffic. Hiking and riding trails (and the canal) are an easy walk away.
*** The resort spa & fitness, Tocasierra, offers daily passes to fitness center including access to (adults only) pool with jacuzzi. The Hilton at the Peak can be contacted directly for information regarding daily passes to the River Ranch with waterslide, lazy river, and miniature golf. Both Tocasierra and the River Ranch are only yards away from our guest suite.
*** The Arizona Canal stretches nearly 39 miles from east of Scottsdale through Phoenix and into Peoria. Access to the canal is a quick 1/2 mile walk through the neighborhood (just past Sumida Park).
*** Access to the Dreamy Draw Recreation Preserve is a comfortable walk or very short drive. This preserve is an amazing natural treasure right in our neighborhood.
INTERNET/WORK SPACE - A great space for remote workers

Includes a height adjustable sit/stand desk - positioned to take advantage of the spectacular views and a table for snacking or games with ample work surface and comfortable chairs to make a worker friendly table for laptops. The two private patios each have a table and comfortable chairs making great spots to work or relax -- with a view.
DINING / COOKING - Our guest suite has a new modern kitchenette - microwave, ice cold beverage fridge, dishwasher, a coffeemaker (coffee, tea, and all the fixings), convection toaster oven, single burner cooktop, and various small appliances. There is also access to a a full size refrigerator. We provide a variety of mugs, glassware, wine tools, and utensils. If you like to barbecue- our guest suite includes a Weber (with propane tank) for working your grilling magic. There are also several restaurants within walking distance and Sprouts grocery is only one mile away. You would be hard-pressed to find a prettier view patio to enjoy dining on simple fare or take-out/delivery from any of the many wonderful eateries in our city.
ACCESSIBILITY - With a no-step entrance — from parking to door— all on one floor, and a step-in shower — our place is great for those with limited mobility issues (not completely handicapped accessible inside). If entrance for wheelchair or walker is needed - please let us know in advance as we are most happy to move a car from garage for easy access. Please ask if you have other specific needs. This is an older home and is not unfortunately, completely handicapped accessible inside. We are happy to answer questions so you can determine if our place suits your needs.
SLEEP - Each bedroom features a high quality comfortable mattress and luxury linens on the King size bed in one bedroom and a Queen size bed in the other. The bedrooms each include a sound machine with optional ambient nightlight and many soothing sound options to enhance your sleep. Each bedroom has a spacious closet with luggage rack and ample room for hanging clothing. The front bedroom has a sliding door to cozy view patio. (We also have a new twin roll-away bed available on request.)
PETS - While we adore pets - our special guest suite is not set up for visiting animals and for several reasons is not pet friendly. If traveling with a service animal, we ask that you inquire before booking so we can determine if special arrangements can be made.
VIEWS- Comfortable and bright with a whole wall of windows, framing the beauty of Arizona’s timeless blue skies and cactus splendor (Saguaro, Organ Pipe, Prickly Pear, etc. ) as well as a backdrop of the Phoenix city-scape. Gaze out at one of our giant Saguaro cactus and watch up close as Arizona Cactus Wren fly in and out of their cozy (and prickly) cactus home. Note: many of the view pictures we are featuring were taken by our guests.
WILDLIFE - Keep an an eye out - and you might just get treated with spotting the occasional visiting coyote, raccoon, roadrunner, or other desert wildlife roaming past.

Summary: Perfect stay! Extremely comfortable with the most amazing views. Nancy was a great host and even signed us up for free tickets to the Dessert Botanical Gardens before we arrived. Convenient location to restaurants and activities.

Summary: Loved the location and the views..:.just as advertised! Host was very responsive, and though they live on the property I only saw her twice! It is a 2 bed 1 bath but there is also a nice half bath just outside the unit for use if needed. Highly recommended!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this property. The views are better than the photos. Great mid-century decor. Spotlessly clean. Check-in was a breeze and hosts were very responsive to any questions. Only regret was that I didn’t have more time to spend on the beautiful patio looking at mature cacti. Highly recommend this property!
