Positive: We had an incredible stay at Mike and Donna’s. The property is beautiful and they had thought of everything we could possibly need for our stay. Special mention for the breakfast! Also lovely touches like leaving us some vegetables from their veg patch. They were delicious on the BBQ! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if we were back for more Abel Tasman hikes!

The natural beauty surrounding the accommodation creates a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Accommodations- Our accommodations were nothing short of top-notch. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with comfortable beds, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches ensuring a luxurious and relaxing stay. Culinary Delights- Mornings at Harakeke were a treat, as we looked forward to starting our day on the patio for breakfast. The spread included local fresh fruits, jams, cheeses, homemade chutney, and bread, showcasing the best of New Zealand's local produce. Evening Relaxation- As the day wound down, we found ourselves drawn to the spa. Sitting in the warm waters with a glass of local wine while admiring the setting sun was truly magical, offering a perfect end to each day of our stay. Local Exploration- One of the highlights of our visit was the wealth of local knowledge shared by our gracious hosts. Donna and Mike provided many lovely suggestions for exploring the area, from nearby walking trails to recommendations for the best local vineyards and cafes. Their insights truly enhanced our experience and allowed us to discover hidden treasures we might have otherwise missed. As we reluctantly packed our bags at the end of our 3-night stay, we found ourselves already planning our next visit. Positive: There isn't the vocabulary to describe this exquisite accommodation. Having travelled extensively and always chosen carefully, this has raised the bar in every way. The size, decor, amenities, facilities, the location and view are simply stunning. The attention to detail is second to none. In addition to this the added bonus are the owners whose hospitality goes way beyond the extra mile, they care for your every need without being intrusive and the cherry on top are those special homemade treats. Thank you so much Mike and Donna for making our stay truly perfect in every way. We will be back.

Positive: This is a stunning property that is well equiped for everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The platter and drinks on arrival are great and helps you start enjoying the property. The property was finished to a very high standard and well appointed. The apartment feels private and could not fault anything. The hosts are friendly and really helpful. The location is surprisingly close to lots of activities and places to eat and a good base to explore from. We loved enjoying the rural view from the Spa pool and waiting for the amazing stars to come out.
Negative: Couldn't think of anything we didn't like except having to leave at the end of our stay.

Positive: Everything. High quality fixtures and furnishings. Lots of space, indoors and out. Donna and Mike were excellent hosts. Hot tub with stunning views. Excellent location, quiet but easy access to the coast and the hills. Generously stocked fridge. Locally made jams and chutneys. Pétanque and swimming pool . One of the best places we have ever stayed.
Negative: Nothing - apart from having to leave.

They went above and beyond, providing great breakfast choices and much more, with cold drinks being an extra treat as well. Loved the swimming pool and watching the sun set from the spa. Positive: We loved the breakfast, snacks, and welcome drinks on arrival (beer, wine, cidar, soft drinks). Breakfast included fruit, 2x types of yummy yoghurt, cereals, toast & condiments, fruit juice, Nespresso coffee. It was excellent, and was replenished every day during our stay. The location was excellent - out in the countryside with rural views across the fields to the mountains. A real escape from the city. The accommodation was excellent - high spec bathroom & kitchen facilities, towels were provided for the bathroom, spa pool, and the beach. Everything you could possibly need, had been thought of and provided. It was a very luxurious home away from home, and we look forward to staying there again. Our hosts, Donna & Mike, were also excellent - friendly, nothing was a problem - really great.
Negative: The accommodation was fantastic. There really wasn't anything that we didn't like.
