Hard Rock Ridge - Recently renovated, this one bedroom cottage is a perfect choice for the traveler who seeks a quiet country setting where the dominant sounds are of songbirds and the breeze in the trees.
It is located on 52 acres, abundant with wildlife. Watch for white tailed deer along the edge of the woods. There is a 1 acre scenic pond in the yard that is stocked with catfish. Guests especially enjoy relaxing by the pond; children have fun catching frogs along the pond's edge.
It features a very spacious covered deck for outdoor seating and dining. This welcoming home has a contemporary kitchen and bath. There is also an enclosed sun room with a foosball table. The whole family enjoys shooting hoops on the large concrete pad provided by your host.

Summary: This place is an excellent place to stay. Less than 20 minutes from CDP and a beautiful drive to and from. You will lots wildlife here while sitting on the spacious and shaded front porch! House has everything you need. We slept with the A/C units on the first night and then just slept with windows open and were very comfortable! Joe is also a great host, checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Highly recommend!

Summary: This was perfect for what we were looking for. A beautiful outside space, fishing pond (stocked with catfish, caught 6-7), picnic table, basketball hoop and foosball. All great for a family looking to enjoy the outdoors. In poor weather you could still be inside with plenty of room and the foosball and dish T.V. to entertain. Or enjoy the rain while sitting on the large porch. As we drove off we said "Couldn't have chosen a better house". Joe is a great host and extremely tentative and helpful. So added bonus there!

Summary: We had such a wonderful stay at Joe’s house. It was immaculate! So clean and inviting! Our son played at Dreams Park and it was less than a 20 minute drive! Joe was so friendly and attentive. It was perfect for my husband and I but would also be perfect for a family get away. I would highly recommend!

Summary: We spent a week here because our son was playing baseball in Cooperstown. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was very clean. The property had plenty to do. My children went fishing and caught catfish in the pond. If you are going for the baseball experience consider staying away from the busy and stay at Hard Rock Ridge. Very peaceful and quiet full of nature. We wish we had a reason to go back. Great time and money well spent.
