2 Bedroom House in Irons

This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin has been fully renovated with a clean, coastal theme. The eat-in kitchen features new stainless appliances and plenty of cupboard space for all of your cooking needs!
The kitchen opens up to the spacious living room with large flat screen television. The living area can accommodate two guests on the queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. The large picture window overlooks the beautiful Harper Lake! Just off the living area you'll find the full bathroom with tub/shower combo and plenty of towels and washcloths for your stay!
Bedroom 1 features a Queen platform bed with new mattresses and large closet. Bedroom 2 features two new twin beds and a large closet as well. The enclosed rear porch features large sectional for your relaxation! Sit and enjoy the lake without the bugs- feel the breeze or leave the windows closed! Back Yard features a fire pit with a CHARCOAL grill.
Please review sleeping arrangements and square footage prior to booking. A home that sleeps 6 does not mean that there are 6 beds. Please be sure the sleeping arrangements are appropriate for your group.
Summer Rentals = 7 day minimum stay. Check in on Friday- Check out on Friday.

Can we bring our pet?
Unfortunately this homeowner, as well as many travelers, have pet allergies and have opted to maintain a pet free home. We are sorry but we are not accepting pets at this time.
What do we need to bring?
Most of our locations supply toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, dish soap, sponges, linens/blankets/pillows for beds (beds are made for guests) as well as towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, etc.. We suggest bringing anything you feel you may need and reviewing our amenities and supply list in it's entirety prior to traveling to your rental.
Can we camp on the property? Camping allowed on select properties. Contact prior to arrival. Fee may be required.
What activities are available in your area?
The activities in our area are nearly entirely outdoor recreation activities. Blessed to be located in the Manistee National Forest we are lucky to be very close to some amazing hiking/fat biking trails such as the Big M and the North Country Trail. We are surrounded by lakes and rivers as well. Kayak or canoe on the Big Manistee, the Little Manistee or the Pine River. Watch the salmon run in the fall in small creeks or fish one of our many small lakes. We are also located only about a half hour from Lake Michigan and it's beautiful beaches. Shopping is available in Manistee, Ludington, and Traverse City. Our area also has many ATV and Snowmobile trails and trail maps are available online and in the welcome book at our cabins. This cabin is located approx 20-35 minutes from Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks for skiing and snowboarding. We are located 25 minutes from the Little River Casino and our area hosts the Hoxeyville Music Festival Annually as well!

Summary: What a lovely cabin. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The scenery can’t be beat. We loved the lake and used the kayaks one day and rented a pontoon boat another day. The morning sunrise and evening sunset were picturesque. My husband and I enjoyed it throughly. We didn’t feel like we were in a rental but a family cottage. LOVED IT.

Summary: This is an adorable cottage that was very clean. We spent most of our time enjoying the lake. The air conditioning is wonderful and there’s a new washer dryer that was a pleasant surprise.

Summary: Had a great time for the holiday. The house was super clean and cutely decorated. It was so nice to stay by the lake, it was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was a washer and dryer there. We had a very nice time with family and friends, would definitely go back. The only thing is the dock wasn’t very big and it made it difficult to go fishing but besides that everything was great!

Summary: Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was a dream! The cottage is perfect. Beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated. It has everything you need (including the coziest blankets for cooler nights). The screened in porch overlooking Harper Lake is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy life. It was fun just to sit and watch everyone enjoy the lake on boat or jet ski. The place had a row boat and two kayaks which were fun to use! I highly recommend this place. I have family that lives on the lake and it was such fun to take a boat over and visit!!!

Summary: We came up to go salmon fishing and loved that we were far enough from all the fishing chaos when it came to where we were staying but close enough it was a short drive to fish, eat and anything we needed. We will definitely be renting again!

Summary: Was unable to access code for the lock box due to no cell service. Good thing the property manager lives right next door and saw me struggling to get in. Beautiful cabin. Nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture. My only complaint was the closet where the garbage was smelled like something had died. Same odor was in the kitchen cupboards.
