*Our guest house is somewhat attached to our main property. (There is an exterior entryway with a single roof but no shared walls to actual living spaces as the interior wall is storage).
6/5/2025 UPDATE Due to recent storms the damn has broken and is under repair. This leaves our water levels at either none or very high depending on when the upper damn gates are open. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this is corrected soon. You can, of course, take our kayaks to other open waters for personal use.

Summary: A very beautiful house. Comfy bed, great well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom and comfy living room with a fireplace. It is close to downtown without the crowd. They have a sweet pot belly pig, chickens, dogs and a very friendly cat. The property would be on the water except the dam broke this spring. It will be replaced! The hosts are right next door and are a lovely couple. We highly recommend this location.The Old Plantation has awesome food. Nice Ice Baby is a fun bar with good drinks. The pizza place on the other side of the fire department makes good pizzas. Tu Familia Mexican has good food. We really enjoyed the street corn.

Summary: The little place isn’t so little, I mean they go way beyond hospitality, bottled water, snacks, cokes, anything you would need in the kitchen and bathroom if you happen to forget something, if we ever go back we will stay there again! Thank you host so much!

Summary: Very homey...great proximity to town and mountains/refuge. Hiking trail was great and unique although we were there in heavy snake season, so we cut that short. Kevin and the other animals were super friendly and just hung around.

Summary: My husband and I had a wonderful time. We took our two dogs and did some exploring in the area enjoying the wonderful views. It was a great way to escape the stress of the real world for a few days.

Summary: We stayed at Harper’s Landing for 2 nights. The host was exceptional. She was very thoughtful about anything one may need for a quick couple night getaway. From snacks to hygiene products. The property was very nice and clean. This will be where I always stay when I return to medicine park. Though the water at the house was on was not there because of an issue with the dam( it is being fixed and may be fixed already). There are plenty of fishing spots and lakes all within a short 2 minute drive from the property. The Host was also nice enough to personally tell me about a few fishing spots in the area that I was able to walk to and catch fish. No exaggeration, these were the best hosts I have ever had at any property. Thank you for providing us with a home base for a wonderful trip that we will remember forever.
