*Our guest house is somewhat attached to our main property. (There is an exterior entryway with a single roof but no shared walls to actual living spaces as the interior wall is storage).
*Lake / fire pit / dock images are of the properties shared yard and fully available during your stay - however please know you may encounter us from time to time as we live on property :) ****6/5/2025 UPDATE Due to recent storms the damn has broken and is under repair. This leaves our water levels at either none or very high depending on when the upper damn gates are open. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this is corrected soon. You can, of course, take our kayaks to other open waters for personal use.

Summary: The house is gorgeous. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, as are their pets. We brought our 3 dogs. This was the puppy's first big trip and his stomach was not happy. I asked about a laundromat and she offered to wash the dog blankets for us. That was so sweet of her. We appreciated it so much, the dogs did too. The bathroom is is awesome! The enclosed porch was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The provided snacks and farm fresh eggs were a super nice gesture. Summary: Excellent and professional interior decoration and accomidation. Outside: a work in progress. I only mention the negatives to help the owners recognize 3 faults: 1 ) Icemaker frozen/not-functional. 2) No lighter for outdoor grill 3) Oven was not clened, and the baking pan was not cleaned - only used it because I could not use the outside gcrill.

Summary: If you are looking for a time to relax this property is perfect. Is located close to the river and the Mount Scott also the Wichita refuge. The owners are friendly and they have chickens, a cute pig it's name is Kevin.

Summary: We had a wonderful time during our stay at Harper’s Landing. The Holt’s are amazing hosts and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, just a few minutes from the Wichita wildlife preserve and a short drive to the charming town. We took a fun hike to the Latonka dam, the trail was just a maybe 600 ft from our door. If you are planning a visit to Medicine Park/Wichita Wildlife Preserve, you won’t go wrong booking your stay here. Thanks for everything!
