if you're looking for a weekend getaway or just need a stopover for a good night's rest, go no further!
As part of the Norwegian Woods 66-acre listing, you'll have access to the private lake for fishing, canoeing etc as well as hiking in all directions!

60 min to 1000 island hot spots (Alex Bay,Clayton etc.)
The space
This is a one-room cabin with a private, brand new outhouse 30 ft. away.
There's a cold-water utility sink on the porch for cleaning and prepping food.
Need hot water?
No problem!
Utilize the portable 2-burner stovetop inside to do so.
There's not much to want for in a cozy setting such as this.

Summary: I had an incredibly relaxing weekend at this little cabin. It was cozy and clean as can be, and everything appeared as listed. For such a little place it’s packed full of amenities, and the setting of the woods and pond is beautiful and tranquil. Even the outhouse was clean and had motion sensor lights for nighttime! Danny, the host, was super friendly and responsive with any of my questions, and check in/check out was a breeze. Will definitely be looking to come back next year!

Summary: The cabin was recently renovated or new. It sets next to the owner's Chalet. Had a lot of nice amenities that allow you to enjoy your stay no matter the weather. Heat, air conditioning, ceiling fan, WiFi, electric, tv and cable ( we didn't watch anything ), running water, outside lighting, microwave, hot plate coffee pot, some dishes, surprisingly comfortable bed, fire pit, utility sink on the porch, relatively new outhouse, and some essentials if you forgot something. It was a beautiful couple of days. The weather was perfect. We didn't use the heat or air conditioning. The front door faces an amazing view of a marshy pond. It was peaceful and tranquil except for this morning when the army base was doing jet exercises. Ducks, geese. Remote but not too far from civilization. My wife liked it enough in the first half hour, she decided to add a day. No bears that we could see. We will stay again. Dan was a great host. Very responsive and knowledgeable. The place was extraordinarily clean for a cabin.

Summary: We stayed for the weekend and this cabin is the cutest place! For the price you get so much- a cabin with everything you need, a fire pit, a beautiful view, and even a nice outhouse! The owner also gives you access to the canoes so you can go on the lake. It is brand new, clean and updated and we already plan on going back in the fall! Was exactly the peaceful escape we needed.
