Negative: There are a number of things that need attention as there does not appear to have been any inspection for some time to pick up the below faults. They are:- 1 The right rear hot plate does not work 2 The rangehood fan and light do not work 3 There is only one plug for a double bowl sink 4 There are no placemats for use on the dining table. 5 The window winder above the sink does not work so the window cannot be opened 6 The right hand front foot on the microwave has disappeared, leaving it lopsided. Had to prop it up with a stone 7 Only one rubbish bag was provided for a 10 day stay. Not good enough 8 The diffuser in the vanity basin tap is broken so that when you turn the tap on, water squirts everywhere outside the basin 9 There is no carpet sweeper or vacuum cleaner which is not good for longer stays and a charcoal coloured pile carpet 10 There are 2 mops provided but no bucket to use with them 11 Only 1 tea towel was provided for a 1 day stay. not good enough 12 No hand towel or paper towel was provided for use in the kitchen 13 There is a bad water hammer in the pipes in the kitchen and laundry and if not attended to could result in the splitting of the pipe and substantial water damage, upstairs and downstairs. 14 The window above the sink was covered in black mould, not very healthy. Had to remove the screen and clean the window, something the cleaners should have done some time ago
Summary: we enjoyed our stay but it could have been even better with attention given to the above.

Positive: Loved the location. Staff are lovley.
Negative: Very noisy road, had an issue with the power being disconnected during our stay leaving us with no power for 2 days. Lost all of our food no compensation was offered. Furtiture (lounge and bed). is old and uncomfortable. Otherwise our stay was pleasant.

Positive: The view was wonderful and the location was perfect for exploring the area by walking,cycling and kayaking.
Negative: The sofa wasn't very comfortable but the dining room chairs were incredibly comfortable. The sofa is way overdue for a steam clean.
