Nearly 1600 sq ft of open living space, including 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Master bedroom complete with a queen size bed, dresser, night stands with reading lamps, tv and master bathroom. Second bedroom furnished with a queen size bed, night stands and an armoire. Third bedroom features a set of twin beds, night stand and dresser. Front living room appointed with sectional sofa, recliner, chair and ottoman along with television and a large bookshelf (grab a book/leave a book). Rear living room features a pull out sectional sofa bed, television, game/puzzle table. Check the hall closet for games, cards and puzzles. Open kitchen/dining is perfect for entertaining. Glass cook top stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, lobster pot and loads of pampered chef tools. Kitchen table seats 8.
Hardwood floors throughout with ceramic tile in bathrooms. Laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Ceiling fans in every room.
After a day at the beach, hang your suit an towel on the clothesline and enjoy the outside shower. Patio is equipped with a gas grill, sofa, tables and chairs to accommodate upwards of 14 people. Back yard is fully fenced in with a fire pit.
Home furnished with linens, bath towels, beach towels, iron and ironing board. We also have beach chairs, umbrellas, and bicycles for your use.
Hawks Nest Beach is a family friendly beach community. Grab a bike from the garage, pick out a backpack beach chair and you are on the beach in 5 minutes. During the summer season, take the kids for a bike ride over to Sound View, ride the carousel (hope you get the brass ring), treat yourself to some ice cream or Vecchitto's Italian Ice. If you are not into the little kid stuff, Kokomo's or the Pavilion can provide a fun night!

Summary: As other guests have noted, this a very comfortable, exceptionally clean property in a pleasant neighborhood, within walking distance to the beach. There is a big, pretty, well-furnished yard. The primary bath is petite, but has a shower big enough to work fine with a shower chair, unlike some much larger bathrooms we have encountered. The location is great, near to two very nice state parks and many other attractions. Rocky Neck has the prettiest sand, and a very nice boardwalk. We didn’t try out the grill, but the kitchen is well-equipped, with plenty of counter space. Lots of good restaurants are nearby.

Summary: Very large kitchen & living rooms. 2 bathrooms & wonderful fenced in yard - so peaceful. This place has the convenience of many, many pans & utensils if you’re inclined to cook. Also baked a birthday cake for my grandson using the perfect size cake pan. Providing towels & linens is a bonus. We spent time all week completing a difficult puzzle we found in the “game closet”. Thank you Amenta family.

Summary: Great! A lot of room to spread out. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning was excellent. There is a big back yard with patio seating. We loved having the bikes and beach stuff to use during out stay. This is an awesome VRBO for Hawks Nest!

Summary: This home was better than I ever could've expected! You don't get the full view or feel through the photos. I got to stay a couple of months and I can honestly say that out of all the vacation rentals I have booked, this one was far superior. The house was fully stocked with everything you could ever want or need. Quite honestly, Ive never seen anything like it. Very spacious, very comfortable and very quiet. The home was also spotless upon my arrival. Great area, great neighborhood. Kudos to Meg and Jay on a fantastic job. Great hosts! 10's across the board!! The only negative was that I had to leave!

Summary: Great place to stay!! Exceptionally clean, very well stocked kitchen, linens, towels, games, beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers! All we needed to bring was food and clothes! Owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful with ideas where to eat and what to do. Will stay here again if we decide to go back to Connecticut!!

Summary: We recently stayed at this home for the second year in a row. Again this year, we were pleasantly greeted with a welcome basket full of goodies to enjoy during our stay and a personalized note! We love to open the doors to the brightly colored walls and beach décor. This home truly has everything that a traveler would need on a beach vacation. The house is kept very clean, neat and organized. The many air conditioning units make it easy to stay comfortable on hot days and nights. Every kitchen utensil and appliance necessary could be easily located and were all cooking ready. The towels and linens were fresh and ready for use upon arrival. We all love the entertainment closet, full of puzzles, games and barbies! The house offers at least 15 bikes of all sizes and skill levels so each family member could ride to the beach! Our children loved the gaming system and the many television streaming services. Outside the home, the fenced in back yard is excellent for small children and we made use of all of the outdoor games, sidewalk chalk, ladder ball, etc.! We loved the outdoor shower and nearby clothes line. The hose also came in handy for rinsing off our sea salty items. We enjoyed the fire pit and made use of the outdoor grill and seating on the patio area nightly. We were so fortunate to make Meg and Jason’s house our home away from home for another year of memories at Hawk’s Nest Beach!
