Positive: Our room was great and we werenโ€™t in the best rooms so they would only be better. The pool is great, love the integrated seating area in the pool very clever really donโ€™t know why more hotels donโ€™t incorporate things like this very few people are there to swim so very good. Sea was amazing at sea grapes
Negative: We had an issue on arrival with rooms, we were checked into the wrong room, we were actually upgraded to the royal palm suite rooms which we didnโ€™t want as weโ€™ve done our research and know these rooms are on the side with really rocky sea & sand whereas the beachfront bungalows which is a slight downgrade but on sea grapes beach which is a million times better is the room we booked. so we went, made reception aware but they said this is what weโ€™ve got allocated and as itโ€™s a free upgrade basically we wanted to try keep it but immediately cut myself in the sea on a rock and it just isnโ€™t enjoyable so at half 3 we made reception aware we do not want to keep the room and want our actual booked room a beachfront bungalow on sea grapes beach. This wouldnโ€™t be ready until 5pm which when check in is 3pm this should be unacceptable, if you checked out 2 hours late Iโ€™m sure the hotel would have something to say so checking in people 2 hours late shouldnโ€™t be acceptable. We were put in the first bungalow which first impressions were not great as there was 6 people on sunbeds immediately infront of our bungalow. After talking to staff we moved the sunbeds that night and after that it was fine and a bit more private. But that is something the hotel needs to look at the beachfront bungalows need to be more private there is a lot of space near the restaurant and other side next to water sports to put a lot more sunbeds for the people who are in different rooms rather than to be sat straight infront of the beachfront rooms thatโ€™s just not what beachfront should be. After that everything was going ok other than on the last day, we tried to get lunch at 11am from sea grapes but told food wonโ€™t be ready for another half hour, this is suppose to open at 10am and we needed to leave & checkout so we couldnโ€™t wait until half 11.
Summary: Good but not great. Not a lot for your money.

Negative: Booking.com stated that we had booked a room with two beds and a tv, one bed no tv. The room was actually a two bed bungalow with the connecting door locked so that they could get extra people in. The problem was there is little or so sound proofing and the disturbance from the other room was unacceptable. Also, other people trying to get into our room vis the connecting door not for anything malicious just wanted to know where the door left i guess. I did mention the noise to reception once, did not bother again.
Summary: Could have been outstanding but ultimately disappointing and the fact that Booking.com misled us in the room configurati

Positive: I liked everything about this resort. The beaches and resort grounds are absolutely beautiful. Resort grounds are well maintained. The staff, servers/bartenders were efficient and friendly. Food was good. My room was basic, clean and sufficient size for 2 persons and the location was excellent. I was in a seaview bungalow so I was a few steps away from the ocean and right next to Seagrapes restauraunt. I have stayed at 3 other resorts in Antigua and Hawksbill beats them all . I highly recommend if you want a peaceful vacation in a wonderful location.
Negative: The only thing that could have been better is the lighting in the bathroom.
Summary: Beautiful beaches, lovely resort, made a great vacation .
