Welcome to Casa Linda! We invite you to enjoy this beautiful home in the perfect location, close to big-city attractions without being in the middle of big-city traffic.
Our home is conveniently located in the center of Cave Creek, a unique and historic little Western town on the edge of north Scottsdale. We are located at the base of Black Mountain one block from the Black Mountain hiking trailhead, and one block from the cute and unique boutiques and shops in the western themed plaza at Frontier Town.
From here, it's an easy walk to venues in the "heart" of Cave Creek. Walk to one of several coffee shops down the street for your morning coffee. El Encanto Mexican restaurant, Coyote BBQ, and Stumblinas Cantina are a block away. Big Earls hamburgers, The Grotto, Janeys Coffee & Bodega, Local Johnny's and many others are within easy walking distance. Harrolds Corral, Roadhouse, The Hideaway, and Buffalo Chip are right down the street for country western dancing so bring your boots! At Buffalo Chip you can experience live professional rodeos! And don't forget the many art festivals in the area such as the Thunderbird Art Festival, numerous arts and crafts festivals, and the lovely year-round farmers market every Friday.
The house sleeps 4. There is a king bed in the master, and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The utility room has full-size washer/dryer. For some relaxing down time, the living room and both bedrooms are equipped with large flat-screen TVS that include NETFLIX, HULU PLUS, MAX, AMAZON PRIME, ESPN, DISNEY.
Enjoy the views from the patios that surround the home, including a covered front porch sitting area with unique Spanish style arches. The private pool has outdoor furniture, gas grill, and some stellar views of both the city below and mountains around it. AND... the pool is equipped with a pool heater as an option for cooler seasons! (* details below)
If golf is your thing, we are five minutes from the world-famous Boulders and Rancho Manana golf resorts, plus too many others to list; after all, this is the golfing capital of the country! We are also conveniently located for shop-till-you-drop trips to Desert Ridge, Kierlands, City North, High Street, and Scottsdale malls, plus hundreds of shopping centers and upscale boutiques and spas.
Many major sporting and other events take place in this area, such as the Barrett Jackson Auction, Arabian Horse show, the Waste Management Golf Tournament and Birds Nest events, and baseball Spring Training camps. State Farm Stadium and Cardinal Stadium are 35 min away
Nature lovers will appreciate the Tonto National Forest that Cave Creek borders, plus easy access to beautiful mountains, hiking, breathtaking scenery, nature excursions, and day trips to Sedona.
You definitely won't run out of things to do here. The only problem you might have is ... you won't want to leave!

Summary: The home is spacious and comfortable. One thing to note— the window coverings do not block light so as soon as the sun rises, the bedroom is light. In mid-April, the light woke me up before 6 am.

Summary: We enjoyed the property very much, only problem was the pool heater didn't work 2 days so was unusable to swim, 70 water is to cold to swim in when its 50-60 outside But contacted the owner and she took care of the problem. Tried to book for next year but was already booked. Very quiet and peaceful, close to town and beautiful views.

Summary: Great place with all the amenities. Close to main street.Bed in master bedroom was very soft.hard on the body. Nightly noise from frontier town was a bit annoying unless you enjoy a crooning cowboy.

Summary: This house exceeded all of our expectations. We book a lot of VRBO places and none of them measured up to this house. The place was super clean...not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere. The kitchen was FULLY stocked (too many other VRBO places claim that but are usually lacking in supplies). Every pot, utensil, and appliance was available. The house was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked beautifully, keeping us cool in the hot Arizona desert, The pool was sparkling clean with comfortable lounge chairs available. The house was situation a little higher than the street which allowed us to have a good view of the surrounding area. It was a very quiet area of the town. The main street of Cave Creek is a mere two blocks away, close to restaurants, souvenir shops, and a great ice cream shop! To us, this has become a place to return to!

Summary: This is the second time I have stayed at this property. Linda is an excellent person to work with, and is very considerate and has great communication. The location is perfect for me because I’m close to all the things I enjoy in the Cave Creek and Carefree area. An extra bonus is that, many things are within walking distance. For part of the time I was there by myself until my husband joined me and I felt very safe being there. I enjoy this home so much that I have already reserved it for next year. I highly recommend this property.
