Summary: My teenage daughter and I met up with my son (who is studying in Spain this semester) in Paris for a weekend. The apartment was in a great location in St Michel and was perfect size for us. Great visit and great apartment.

Summary: wow, we loved this place, great shopping close by and so many tasty restaurants and cafes within close proximity. The art work in the home is beautiful and our host was very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back

Summary: We’ve stayed in Paris at least ten times, trying different areas, and this is definitely the best. Like Owen Wilson in ´Midnight in Paris’ you feel immersed in the rich artistic history of Paris. We really appreciated the flat was so well equipped to cook at home on those days when you just can’t bear to eat another meal in a restaurant. Highly recommended.

Summary: We had a great time staying in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It really is right in the heart of the city with everything you need nearby. Baguette, confiture, and fresh butter are available downstairs at the neighborhood shops, and with the fancy gourmet coffee machine, help yourself to a Cappuccino or Latte for as good a tartine breakfast as at any cafe. We had great meals at Brasserie Des Prés, Breizh Café (try the seaweed butter from Le Beurre Bordier, seriously,) Opium, la Cabane for oysters, and Xin Gainian for Asian fusion, as well as chocolat chaud à l'ancienne at Les Deux Magots; like drinking liquid brownie batter. There are numerous metro stops nearby that can get you anywhere in the city. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, and street performers are out busking every night. We found this very entertaining, but if you're looking for funereal silence for sleep, this might not be the neighborhood for you. It was cool during our stay, so we didn't try the AC, and there's a TV, but who comes to Paris to watch television? The WiFi worked great. The apartment reminds me of my architect dad's place in New York City. My grandmother was an art dealer, so his place was stuffed with objets d'art. Ann's has a quirky personal feel, lots of books and sculptures, and the kitchen is well equipped if you plan to cook or entertain. The shower was great, and the washer/dryer came in handy. Bed and fold-out sofa were comfortable. Not a sterile hotel, but a true city home.
