Positive: The Manager Asanka was very professional, caring and really went out of his way to make our family of five stay a memorable one. He would even make sure we arrived at our destinations via Tuk Tuks. The 3 bedroom suite was a great space for us all to enjoy and the pool and gardens were a nice way to chill after being out in the city all morning.
Negative: Nothing.

Positive: It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of birds. Lovely site, trendy furnishings and nice pool. Fantastic manager, Asanka, very accommodating and keen to ensure you have a good stay.
Negative: The property felt very safe but the downside of that was having to wait for the doors to be open which is tricky if you are leaving early. Like most small boutique hotels, you have to schedule meal times and what you want to eat the day before which is understandable.

Positive: If you’re after something different from a hotel chain, this a good option. It’s a quaint, thoughtfully renovated bungalow with plenty of space. Staff are polite and friendly. Asanka does a good job with the place.
Negative: Last stretch of the road is horrid, and the facility is in residential area so the neighbours can be annoying.

Positive: Our host Asanka was amazing, kept in touch with us prior to arrival and was available for any of our needs. The property was beautiful and had a great pool area although sadly didn’t get to use it during our short overnight stay! Food was also delicious!
Negative: Nothing everything was great :) Was handy having a driver to take us to property

Positive: Our stay at Hebron Gardens was exceptional from start to finish. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located to explore Kandy and the surrounding area. What truly made the experience special, however, was the team. Every member of staff was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. We were travelling with two young children, and the team consistently went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They were always happy to adjust meal times, prepare food suitable for the kids, and help with anything we required throughout our stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A special thank you to Asanka, who managed everything with an impressive balance of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. He was always available when needed, proactive in finding solutions, and ensured everything ran smoothly without ever being intrusive. His hospitality made a lasting impression on our family. Hebron Gardens felt less like a rental property and more like staying with a team that genuinely cares about its guests. We leave with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to return on our next visit to Sri Lanka. Highly recommended.

Positive: Absolutely amazing - the villa, apartment, pool, breakfast, stuff, fast internet. We are starting the trip but I am almost certain it will be the best stay of our trip. Everything was spot on and the host was very helpful, speaking English, were able to pay card which is always helpful.

Positive: We rented the 3-bedroom villa, which is located in their backyard. Be aware this is a (beautiful) private residence, and there seem to be two rental apartments in their backyard: one bedroom for a couple, and then their “villa” with three separate bedrooms (and ensuite bathrooms) at ground floor and the living room downstairs. The photos of the beautiful wrap-around porch belongs to their private residence, and the pool in the backyard is shared. Everything was very clean, and the bathrooms were modern. We also booked breakfast and dinner as part of the package, and found the food very enjoyable. Staff was very professional and attentive.
Negative: We felt a bit like an afterthought (perhaps because there was a private party going on one of the two nights we stayed there). Barely any communication at check in, we had to ask for basic stuff such as wifi password etc. The party guests celebrated on the roof top of our 4-bedroom bungalow, and the pool area was also crowded by the guests. There was no heads up about the party, which also meant our driver couldn’t park the car in the overfull parking area. To be fair, we eventually were offered a coffee or a glass of wine. So let’s assume this was a one-off with poor communication. However, the basement level (our living room with kitchenette) had quite a smell of drainage. We would have also appreciated more towels to have a set of towels for the pool. The garden itself was beautiful and an oasis (without party guests), but there are only 3 sun chairs around the pool (for six guests during the first night of our stay).
