Summary: Dated, old motel that someone is obviously trying to fix up. Our room was not great….,bathroom was best part. Bed comfortable, but bed linens didn’t look crisp and fresh. No table lamps, just an overhead light, old furniture. Nothing on the walls. Upon arrival, door to our room was wide open and basket of towels (dirty or clean? Couldn’t tell) was piled up in front with no housekeeper in sight.. Breakfast was ordinary and not very good. Grounds to property were lovely. Very well maintained.

Summary: I had heard that they upgraded so I gave it a shot. Same dingy place. Choked on the heavy antiseptic smell. Opened the windows but there aren’t any screens. Ants in the bathroom. Right on a busy roadway so noise is an issue too. Someday I’ll learn that you get what you pay for

Summary: Check-in: the clerk was unfamiliar with the property and couldn't tell where our room was. It took a couple of visits to the front desk to narrow the search. Heidi's is pet friendly, so there were two guests' barking dogs in the breakfast/restaurant area where/while guests were dining. Walls aren't close to sound-proof. One can hear neighbors footsteps and normal-toned conversations in adjoining rooms. But our room was spacious.

Summary: The motel is comprised of several, one floor motel buildings that are set in a small hillside with pathways and garden areas that give it a park-like feel. The rooms are clean and updated. The breakfast area is lovely with a nice stone fireplace. It has an outdoor pool during the season and is pet friendly. Aside from there being no coffee machine in the smaller rooms the place is perfect. I would definitely recommend it.
