Summary: Staff were some of the best i've encountered very friendly & helpful. For my meetings next day, was perfect location, room was in great condition but watch out for the pigeons, if you leave windows open they love to join you in your room!

Summary: Wonderful place to stay with excellent staff willing to help all the time. Lovely old fashioned room in keeping with the old house and excellent spa facilities and new gym equipment. The hotel was dog-friendly and although not allowed in the restaurant, they are in the other food area near the spa and breakfast was served in a snug room with only one table so very private. Only issue was the very large bed had two separate matresses joined together, one mattress was lower and in really poor condition so didn't get much sleep. I would've requested a room change if staying another night. The grounds are lovely but maybe need some TLC in some areas. Overall really nice stay and would recommend.

Summary: Nice older hotel. Lacking USB sockets. Old fashioned shower heads. Lovely toiletries. Great service in the brasserie. Food always came out piping hot. Beware of service charge added to your bills. The bar closes early with no warning. The gym is small, but well equipped. They also run classes. All accessible to the public too.

Summary: Loved the pool - felt luxurious and private (even though there were other guests using the pool) Great staff and beautiful room in a wonderful setting Breakfast delicious and plentiful The hotel didn't feel too crowded even though they were hosting a wedding Attention needs to be paid to kettle location in the room plus need to have a usb charging point each side of the bed Non slip mat for the bath/shower covered the plug hole if not careful Food was disappointing from the A la Carte Menu and Service was very slow - due to the wedding party?

Summary: Mu daughter Ellie celebrating her 16th birthday the slate decorated with Happy birthday in white chocolate and sweets was lovely.The pooland spa very enjoyable.The only thing that wasnt nice was a mojito cocktail asked for,barman made with white rum tonic water ,2 slices of lime,a real mojito has crushed ice mint,brown sugar and it tasted unpleasant.

Summary: Stayed here with my partner and we cant wait to rebook soon. Even though there was 2 wedding at the hotel an almost fully booked the staff were amazing and the hotel was truly lovely. It was a perfect mini break for us from work to get some quality time, relax in the spa and enjoy the grounds.
