Positive: The accommodation was clean, spacious and characterful. The hosts were friendly. Located in beautiful natural surroundings not far to Mértola or lake/river swimming. The plunge pool was perfect on a hot day. A great stay.

Positive: Peaceful rural setting until the rooster crows next door! Nice pool to cool down in our heatwave. Very comfortable bed and room. Excellent walk or mountain bike (free) through owner's pine forest

Positive: We stayed in the Vila and absolutely loved everything about it - it was spacious, beautifully furnished, the kitchen was well equipped and it has an amazing outdoor area including a small pool and a fireplace. Would definitely come back!

Positive: The property is well decorated. It is a quiet location in the middle of nothing.

Negative: Do not understand to have a piece of soap that is used by others, do not understand why a breakfast has only 2 yoghurts for 4 people, 2 little breads for 4 people being asked if we want to have ham but not put on the table and waiting a response of all visitors and some other minor things. Asking €25 extra for a dog because of cleaning is asking too much

Positive: We like the peaceful neighbourhood and the serene location.The size of the room was spacious for 3 people and it is very clean. Shower was very powerful and warm. Many games and books that were for adults and children to enjoy. The staffs are very friendly although we don't speak the language. Owner was friendly and she gave us information about birding in the area.

Negative: The breakfast could have been more varied. A kettle could have been added to the room so we don't have to go to the outside communal kitchen.

Summary: Perfect place for birding as it is close to the 10 recommended birdwatching locations.
