Positive: My single room at Heritage Collection Chinatown was exceptionally comfortable — modern, clean, quiet, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The location was unbeatable, with three diverse heritage places of worship (a Hindu temple, a mosque, and a Buddhist temple) right across the road, along with three hawker centres offering hundreds of affordable local meals. It was also just a short walk to cultural spots, pre-war shophouses, and the vibrant Clarke Quay area with its trendy restaurants and nightlife along the Singapore River.
Negative: The only minor drawback was the self check-in process, which required downloading an app, uploading ID and payment details to get a digital key, and using this App to get in the hotel as well as my room didn’t work at all for me. However, the staff were incredibly patient, friendly, and quick to assist.
Summary: Overall, I highly recommend this place for its safety, comfort, convenience, and cultural richness.
