Heritage Hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with loved ones. A peaceful and scenic setting to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, or just escape the daily grind. Located on 25 acres of steep bluffs and mature hardwood forest, our main cabin is a fully furnished and modern Amish built log cabin.
A true hideaway, the cabin is tucked back off the main road, yet close to many recreational opportunities. Relax around a campfire or listen to the sounds of nature. Take in the scenic views and gather with family where distractions disappear.
Base rates are based on two person occupancy, additional guest fees apply. For groups larger than six, see our separate listing for our Tiny House located on the opposite side of the property: VRBO#873511. Note there is a discount for weekly stays (7 night minimum).

Summary: In the below zero weather, we were greeted with a fire roaring in the wood burning fireplace and an immaculate and inviting log cabin well equipped for our 4-day stay. Troy checked in with us on our first afternoon to make sure all was good. It was! We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy feel of the cabin and the giant supply of wood to keep the fire burning. There was also a heater that would back up the warmth if the fire burned low overnight. We can’t wait to come again in every season!

Summary: My wife and I stayed here a few years ago and loved everything about this place, so when the opportunity came for me to take a vacation on my own, I knew where I was going. It's so nuce how quuet and secluded it is here. You'll have basically everything you need for a nice stay here.

Summary: Beautiful log cabin on the site of a previous homestead, at the end of a gravel road overlooking a beautiful wooded valley. Clean and cozy with all the amenities, stove fridge, full bath and HVAC. Fire ring and new chairs and table outside. Very quiet and secluded. No traffic noise, only birds, wildlife and the breeze. Highly recommended. Close to biking, hiking, trout fishing, Mystery cave, and the Museum in Fountain is a must see.
