Summary: Our wedding anniversary stay, we were told about a wedding party being held when we booked in, so we were aware of potential party noise. We chose to eat in the restaurant and the food service was fast and efficient, the food served was cooked well and tasty. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly. The room was large, but the bathroom was small, the room was also not soundproof, the noises were not from the wedding party downstairs. So not a good nights sleep.

Summary: The hotel doesn't look to bad from the outside and reception area was clean and staff were friendly. However we arrived and were told that the kitchen was having some maintenance so the restaurant was shut which was disappointing. We then went to our family room which was right at the end of a long corridor, which smelt of damp and air freshners. The room set up great, which I why I chose this hotel. There was a double bed for myself and my wife and a single bed for my 12 year old. But the room felt dirty and the adjoining door (which we weren't using) looked like someone had tried break out through it, with a screwdriver. The bathroom was very tired as well, with broken tiles etc. We slept ok, despite the couple next door arguing till the early hours and then making up!!! Breakfast was poor as well, it seemed to be a microwaved full english. A really disappointing stay.

Summary: Its a nice hotel . The room was nice, the bed and pillows were comfortable. We spent 6 hours in the bar and restaurant as we met relatives from Canada there. The fish and chips were really nice. My cousin had chicken wings starter and was shocked to get only 2 wings , in Canada they would get 6 . The bar and restaurant was too cold. There was a very loud noise that woke us up at 5.30 and it seemed to come from the ceiling in the bathroom and hallway. Sadly that spoiled our stay .

Summary: Some stains on the pillows and sheets and several rubbish items left from the previous occupant. carpet seemed really dirty also. Unable to lower the blind on the skylight so was woken up with light really early. Panel coming off the bath, and sink plug did not work properly.

Summary: I stayed here for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) while visiting Bike Park Wales, and I was really impressed with the value for money. Booking just a week in advance, I only paid £55 for a two-person room with breakfast included—an absolute bargain! The room was clean and comfortable, though I did struggle a bit with temperature control. The window didn’t close fully, and while the radiator had adjustable heat, it wasn’t entirely clear when it was actually on or off throughout the day. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Breakfast was great—not anything particularly special, but definitely more than just the bare minimum for a continental breakfast, which was a nice touch. The shower was powerful and clean, though the mounts were a bit loose and wobbly. The location is a little out of the way, so if you don’t have a car, it might not be the most convenient. However, for the price, cleanliness, and overall experience, I’d absolutely stay here again. Perfect for a budget-friendly stay near Bike Park Wales!
