Summary: The property had a really great front desk appeal but that’s where it ended. It looked like a motel. The room lighting was dark, the towels were rough and had loose strings like they were old. The hallway leading up to the room had no appeal. The room was small just a bed, a mini closet, a tiny desk, a hook for your coat. The walls were scratched and needed painting. The decorative pillows had seen many years. The bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom not like a hotel bathroom. I was generally disappointed since I do not like to vacation in a motel. It was a last minute decision since the hotel we were supposed to stay in had trouble with our reservation. The area in which the hotel is located was in Weesp 25 minutes from city center of Amsterdam.

Summary: We had an incredible stay over Easter weekend. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide variety for everyone’s tastes. Our room had a beautiful view of the canal. The hotel is situated a short walk from the train station and in a quiet, charming part of Weesp.

Summary: Electronic key box was not working after hours. That was a bit inconvenient waiting in the rain and cold. Luckily I had help from a staff member who was walking by

Summary: It's very basic, and its a bit of a pot-luck what room you get. In this case, we had a room downstairs at the back, which has open windows upon a street. Anyone walking by therefore can look inside the room which is not always the easiest. It would make sense, IOO, that windows are partially blinded out so it makes it 'feel' a bit more private. For the rest, location wise, its fantastic. We didn't have the breakfast, so I can't really comment on that part, but, we did find it a bit disconcerting that their key locker, in essence to be used after 20:30-21:00, can be used by anyone, because when we arrived, our names where displayed on an A4 above the key-lock box, with instructions how to open and extract key to the assigned room....

Summary: Much improved from our last stay which was in a “cosy” room. That was small with and uncomfortable bed. This luxury room was a good size with a much larger shower room. It was on the ground floor on the road and there was some noise at night but this was not a major problem. The new breakfast facilities were very good. We will stay there again.
