THE SPACE
o IMPORTANT: Our home is located 2 hours to San Juan and 25 minutes to Ponce. If you are looking to do tourism in the metro area, such as San Juan, then, in my opinion, this home is too far away for that.
o This is our home in the middle of 30 acres of land on a tropical island. So yes there will be lizards, bugs, etc. We thoroughly clean the house before and after each guest however our tropical animals can show up once in a while.
o You get to use the pool, of course, at your own risk. The whole top floor of the house is yours to use.
o This is a property that requires 24/7 maintenance therefore Camacho & myself live in the bottom floor (basement) in case anything goes wrong, we are here to fix it. We never access the house while you use it but we will be working on the coffee plantation (along with other employees who work the land) during the day. We also might sometimes have the occasional family member show up to visit us, but not your designated areas.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
o This is a Family Home and a coffee & plantain farm. Camacho and myself live downstairs in the basement (separate entrance and no shared facilities). We are on site to assist 24/7 with any issues you may have as well as to provide daily maintenance to the 30 acres of land.
o We do have a dog Pancho (10 pounds) who lives downstairs but sometimes wanders around and might visit you. He's super friendly and loves greeting guests!
o The ceiling has skylights. If you do not like the light shining in your face early in the morning, please bring a sleeping mask.
o Help us protect our wooden floors by not damaging them with sharp objects, stilettos, moving furniture around, etc.

Summary: Gorgeous spacious Mountain Home. Mountain breeze continuously made it very comfortable to enjoy outdoors. It was never uncomfortably hot. Amenities fully stocked. I would highly suggest to check the Fridge/Pantry for items before you spend unnecessarily at the Supermarket that is 15 minutes away. This home is stocked with Coffee, Expresso machine,Mini Nugget Ice cube maker,Coffee maker, Tea Kettle, Spices, Rice, Cooking Oils,Condiments,Teas etc. Plenty of Cooking pots and Bakeware too ! Bathrooms are stocked with Toiletries including Shampoos/Conditioners, Hair Blow Dryer / Flat irons / Hair Blower Brush all in one ! Mouthwash, Toothbrush/Toothpaste . Washer/Dryer is HUGE and works well . Plenty of assorted Boardgames including the Mexican Train, Dart game , PingPong table,Pool table. The Jaccuzi is Spotless and works well. Lots of Pool toys , life vests , Pool toys too ! Plenty areas to hike or take a walk to the property’s private Campground onsite if you wanna spend a night outdoors. Also they have Wine for purchase or you can pick up Adult Beverages at the local Supermarket too, or take a walk to the nearby awesome Pizza / Bar / live music played on some nights . If you have a Rental Car make sure you are comfortable driving in and out of the property directly related to the tiny ,exaggerated curvy road made for one lane but driven as two. It may have a tendency to cause motion sickness. It’s about a 10-15 min drive before you reach a normal sized straight two lane road.

Summary: This was our second time staying at the Hacienda. We absolutely loved it. There’s so much to do at home, our teenager and young adults were never bored. We swam, played games and music. Although there is a tv available, it wasn't needed nor missed. Staying here made for some quality family time. Coral and Camacho made our stay beyond comfortable. It was perfect, we hope to stay again soon!

Summary: We wanted a place to call our own for 3 weeks while working in the region and this home was amazing. Having rented many homes for vacations and work projects, this is by far my favorite. The home is beautifully decorated and even more important well appointed. We needed for absolutely nothing but had so many options for entertainment, relaxation and even for all the work that needed to go on after the regular work day was done. The owners are amazing hosts and although nothing required their assistance they were available to us with a simple text or call. We all plan to return with our families for vacations in the future. The home is incredibly comfortable, well stocked, and an incredible retreat. I cannot say enough things about this beautiful property other than I hope it is available when I'm back in Puerto Rico!
