Positive: The location was amazing considering we were right in the centre of Waikanae. I had never experienced the closeness of the host before but there was no issue and was handy if we required help of any sort.
Negative: The only thing I would say as a slight negative was for the price per night, and we could not get the TV going and any movies were at a cost.

Positive: The Hide Away was just what we needed for a couple of days of rest away from the hustle and bustle. A home away from home. Hans and Michaela were amazing hosts and very accommodating. Everything was in close proximity (walking distance) to restaurants, cafes, transport and Supermarkets. Bed was very comfortable and the Hide Away was well equipped. We will definitely return.

Positive: The name "Hide Away" is spot on the money. The property was peaceful and in a lovely garden setting. It was very well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Only 3 minutes walk to the main shops and station but felt like a tranquil country setting. Michaela and Hans were exceptional hosts - attentive but not intrusive, warm and friendly and very thoughtful and kind. I will definitely be staying again.
