2 Bedroom Cabin in Wellington

Unplug and unwind at this peaceful and private oasis in the heart of Daniel Boone National Forest. Enjoy relaxing and exploring on and around the property or take a short drive to experience the best of Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. Take in the waterfall view on the front porch while you enjoy your morning coffee or be lulled to sleep by the sounds of cascading water at night. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a weekend with friends.
The Space
Our kitchen cabinets are stocked with essential cookware including pots, pans, dishes, glassware, silverware, baking sheets and dishes and more. Appliances include a fridge, oven and Keurig coffee maker that can make both single cups and a whole pot. The dining table in the kitchen seats 6.
There are two bedrooms with one queen bed each. There is a pull out couch in the living room and we also have an air mattress for use. Please let us know ahead of your stay if you will need to use the pull out couch or air mattress so that we can supply bedding. The cabin has one bathroom with a washer and dryer available for use.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the property except for one supply closet that is kept locked in the kitchen. While outdoors, we ask that you take care to not disturb the moss yard. The waterfall adjacent to the cabin is in Daniel Boone National Forest. Please note that there are cliffs, uneven ground and slippery rocks around the property. We do not recommend that children roam on their own. By booking, you agree that we are not responsible for any injuries that may occur.
Other Things to Note
We encourage our guests to enjoy the simple pleasures of connecting with nature during their stay. There is little cell phone service at the cabin but wifi is available. There are board games available for kids and adults alike to use during their stay.

Summary: This cabin was very cozy and peaceful. It had all the things needed to keep you well rested and ready to hit the hiking trails of Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest.

Summary: Our group had a great time at the cabin. Even had 4 neighbor dogs visit while we were there. Was glad we only had one vehicle. Getting out was the only issue we had. Very cozy cabin and the view was amazing. Was close to everything we were wanting to see. Thanks for the suggestion of places to see. We went to a couple along with our kayaking. Thanks again!

Summary: This place is incredible! The waterfalls and view from the porches are gorgeous - what a beautiful place for morning coffee! With the moss yard, pines, and rhododendron, the setting is truly enchanting! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We enjoyed a small fire in the fire pit one night. My husband and daughter chatted with a neighbor during their run, and we loved meeting a few of his super nice dogs. The cabin was about a 45-minute drive to most sites in the Gorge, but we were all so happy we stayed here! Make sure you check out the very close Broke Leg Falls…especially after it rains!

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about this property and hosts! The cabin was perfectly clean and stocked with amenities. The location was great for our hikes at both Daniel Boone and Red River Gorge. I will definitely book again in the future!

Summary: Super clean,everything you would need is there,the waterfall wasn't flowing which was a bummer,but I know the rainfall has been scarce.We visited Natural Bridge, Whilleton arch,Carters Cave,Kentucky is such a beautiful state so much to do for the outdoor enthusiast. One side note,expect a visit from a big, white furry welcoming committee member whose side hustle is scoring treats.😀 We carry dog biscuits when we travel so we were good to go.He was very sweet.

Summary: Nestled in the woods this cabin was so nice to come back to after a long day of hiking. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is located about 25 minutes from the park so we didn't have to drive too far. My husband and I like to do our own cooking so we brought all food with us. There is a grocery store in Frenchburg if you need something. If we visit this area again we would love to stay at this Cabin.

Summary: This property is so much more beautiful in person than you could imagine! The moss yard enchanted me from the moment I pulled in the driveway. You will never be without the sound of a beautiful private waterfall just outside the door, and the views hiking around the cabin are spectacular. The owners were very kind and communicative, and everything was extremely clean and wonderfully maintained. A dream home tucked away for your wonderment and discovery.
