High Calling is the lower level of a new home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation.
Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided.
Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, a kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.
The space
A full size refrigerator, small air fryer/convection oven, microwave, toaster, and blender are available. There is no regular size oven or cooktop.
A stackable washer and dryer will bring the convenience of home.
Central A/C (you probably won’t need it) and heating are available, along with satellite WiFi.
Note: Because of the mountain location,
Wi-Fi is basic, not optimal for streaming.

Summary: We could not have been more happy with our stay here! The location was gorgeous, it was spectacularly clean and comfortable, and we will absolutely be back. 10/10 would recommend!!

Summary: The place was amazing and had literally everything little thing we needed. Even nice straw like coffee pods, sodas and some granola bars. Fantastic proximity to the ski slopes but be warned of steep roads everywhere! Would definitely suggest this location. Beds were comfy and it was nice to do a load of wash after night skiing.

Summary: This basement apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The sound machines in the bedrooms were somewhat helpful in blocking out the sounds of the hosts above.
