Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in this spectacular home! It's in a beautiful location with awesome views, especially of the evening sun set. There is a large kitchen equipped with everything needed to serve the group. All the rooms in the house are tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. If you're looking for a nice, clean and relaxing place to get away, we highly recommend this rental. It truly is fabulous!

Summary: We loved staying on this beautiful property. So peaceful and homey. Very clean with a well appointed kitchen. Hot tub was put to good use! Only thing I would suggest would be to add another couch downstairs by the tv so more people could enjoy an evening movie. We will definitely come again! Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: The home has a unique timber build so it really feels like more of a getaway compared to staying in a "normal" house with drywall and carpet everywhere. The yard has open area, a treeline, nice landscaping and makes it feel like you are miles from anyone despite being a short drive from the Des Moines area. Great stay and would book it again!

Summary: Such an amazing property for friends to gather! All of us have known each other since grade school and love to meet up once a year to reminisce, laugh, and just catch up on each others’ lives. This home has it all and was super clean from top to bottom. Spacious rooms throughout and lovely decor everywhere. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Our favorite place to be was the large screened in porch. The bird feeder right next to it gave us entertainment from all the feathered friends that came for food. The kitchen table seats ten or more which is a plus for large groups to dine at or play games. We loved the secluded feeling and beautiful grounds of freshly mowed lawns and beautiful flowers. It can’t get any better than this! We’ve already booked for next year! Thank you so much for the opportunity to use your lovely home!❤️

Summary: We spend my 50th birthday party in this beautiful, spacious country escape. We had 4 couples with plenty of space - huge kitchen, dining, and sitting area on gorgeous main level. I can’t imagine the beauty of this property in the summer, fall and winter! The owners were quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommended!

Summary: This was our third time staying at this property, and while the reason for getting together was not exactly a happy one (the first anniversary of my dad's passing) it was the perfect place to meet with the whole family. It's a beautiful place to gather and just be with the ones you love. We're big into board games so we love the massive table! We loved sitting out on the screened in porch and watching the wildlife, The kids loved all the space to run outside (and the kitties to pet). The only "complaint" I have (not really a big deal) is when the sun is setting, it's difficult to cook/eat dinner without being blinded by the sun, since there's no blinds to put down (but man I sure hate to block the view!). Thank you for another memorable time with my family, it's what we all needed for this particularly hard gathering.
