Positive: We loved our stay here! Julie was very accommodating and welcoming. She made me lots of tea and also gave us a lift to and from the wedding venue. The room was beautiful and spacious. Great location.

Positive: Location great when visiting Foxtail Barns for a wedding. Hostess welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. Cooked breakfast was great with food cooked to individual tastes.
Negative: Wasn't offered cereals or toast and marmalade for breakfast which would have been a nice touch, but there again we didn't ask! Orange juice poured out for us which I didn't want ,so was really a waste. Not a fan of textured bedding. I think plain smooth white bedding would be much better. Tap on wash basin in shower room wrong fit for the washbasin.

Positive: Higherlands was a very comfortable accommodation and Julie was a lovely host. My partner and I stayed for one night in a double room, with a private bathroom outside the room. The room was simple but comfortable, didn't have a TV, but that wasn't a problem for us since we arrived there around 9 pm and left the next morning. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was quiet and dark, nice and warm. We had a great sleep, and woke up the next day with a beautiful view of the countryside out the window. The bathroom was right next to the room and only we were using it. Everything was very clean and to a high standard. We had great communication with Julie, and she kindly helped us find the concealed entrance to the accommodation. She also made delicious brews and full english breakfast!
Negative: I didn't realise that the room wasn't an ensuite until we got there, but that wasn't a problem in the end.
