Positive: The evening meal i had was very good would recommend, the room was comfortable and quiet had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was also very good with a good choice of continental and cooked options.

Negative: Nothing to note all good.

Negative: Got woken up by pipes banging at around 3am , was so bad I had to go see security who moved us to different room for rest of stay.

Positive: Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very good too. We had a pleasant surprise seeing a bottle of champagne in our room whilst we were staying there. We are very thankful to the hotel management and staff for given this complimentary gift in recognition of our engagement.

Positive: All the ladies we came into contact with from reception to breakfast staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. A great breakfast selection too. Great location just off the A1M. If you want to go into Durham and not drive it's a short taxi ride or there's a bus stop just outside the hotel which takes about 20 minutes and runs frequently. We didn't eat in the hotels Thai restaurant but it looked very good and was busy. Am sure we will visiting Durham in the future and wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.
