Positive: The breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful room overlooking the town and served by a very genial host. Thanks so much Rachel & Roy.
Negative: Steep stairs are not kind experience for us olds. LOL
Summary: Wonderful B&B with two of the nicest people that you could possibly meet as our hosts.

Positive: Communication with Rachel was excellent and she let me know how to avoid the road works, which blocked the road getting to them, so the message was really useful. The room was very well appointed and a lot of thought has gone into providing comfort for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfy and having the small fridge a bonus, as I had to store medication. The full English breakfast was outstanding. Lovely to have free parking right outside. It was a short walk into Nailsworth and some great places to eat.
Negative: If you are not a dog lover then you need to let Rachel know before you arrive. One of the dogs had come upstairs to say hello, so was right outside my door when I went to go out. It didn't worry me in the slightest, but might concern someone who has a bit of dog trauma from childhood. Good communication is the key.
