Summary: This place was perfect for our family of 4.We have family in Ft. Payne and usually book a hotel stay when we visit, but never again! My teenage boys liked having their own space and their own beds in the loft area. The property has everything you need and was clean/nicely decorated. We didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the firepit or the front porch due to everything being wet, but we loved having these extra amenities and would've taken advantage of them had it not been raining. Host was great, and responded quickly to questions, and we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This is a great location for a quiet getaway. It was close enough to some great hiking locations like DeSoto Falls park and Cloudland Canyon. I really enjoyed the solitude and ease of check in, check out, and cleanliness of the property. It had everything that I needed. Will consider booking again in the future if I return to the area.

Summary: My hubby and I - and our two fur babies - had a wonderful time relaxing at Hiker’s Haven in Mentone recently! Perfect setting - perfect cabin - perfect few days. The cabin was in a beautiful location we felt totally secluded even though Mentone was only 2 minutes away. Holly with Delightful Retreats was wonderful - all questions answered quickly - getting in the cabin and checking out could not have been easier. Beautiful place - beautiful setting - beautiful people.
