Located at the end of Hwy J in Pittsburg, MO.
Parking at our lake home is limited to 4 vehicles. For boat, wave runner, etc parking there is Corp land access within walking distance that is monitored by a business and plenty of room to park any extras that won’t fit directly in front of the home.
Hilltop Haven is 2 levels (3 bedroom, 2 bath) with a full walkout basement. This newly remodeled home is a short walk down to the lake, which does require a walk back up a hill(hence the lakehome name). Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms)1 queen bed and 1 full bed), living room, kitchen, dining and a full bath. Downstairs will be 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room with sleeper sofa, a bar area with fridge and washer/dryer. The home has 2 queen size bed, 2 full-size beds and a pull-out sleeper sofa. Both living areas have 46" flat screen TV's with Direct TV Network channeling for upstairs only, DVD players(including a variety of DVD's upstair and down)WiFi , but the basement TV only has DVD and Xbox. Board games are located in the basement for all ages, a dart board and a Vegas Style card table with different gaming choices. The kitchen area includes full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, crock pot, toaster, coffee pot, blender, pots, pans and all your utensils you will need for any cooking or grilling. There is also a full size refrigerator and cabinet area downstairs. The 40 ft. covered deck faces the lake and includes a propane BBQ grill(ready to use with propane provided) and ample space to sit, relax and enjoy the lake scenery and lots of wildlife. The back yard also features a fire pit area for the nights or plenty of shade to just lounge around on a hot day. The home is 100 yards from the waters edge, is also offers a dock located on a beach-like water front. Plenty of room for the kids to play, swim or fish. The home is 2nd tier so there is a home in front of us.
The home is conveniently located .3 miles from the boat ramp which has plenty of room to leave your trailer at. A full service grocery store is located 3 miles away and gas station is only 3.6 miles away.
Other restaurants, bowling, antique shops and Lucas Oil Speedway are located within 15 miles.
This beautiful home is completely equipped with everything you need.

Summary: Property was great. The house is set up on 2 levels with a large covered deck, fire pit and and a short walk to the dock. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here and will most likely be back next year.

Summary: We love staying here! Hilltop Haven has everything we need. Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked, plenty of space to relax and it is close to the lake. It is clean and well maintained. Summary: I always read reviews before staying somewhere. I was so nervous reading some of the bad reviews, but I tell you what, ignore them like I did because our stay was phenomenal! I never had to reach out to Kelly, but I know if I would have, communication would have been perfectly fine. We had Verizon, so our service was just fine, but even if you had to back track a little for reception, it wasn’t a big deal. The lake is literally right behind the house. It is on an incline, but the name “Hilltop Haven” is a given so we came prepared. I do recommend bringing a wagon if you have intentions of loading up a boat at the shared dock though. When they say their kitchen is well equipped, they mean it. We did not need anything extra our whole trip for cooking. There is a Dollar General and ALP store fairly close by if you do happen to forget something. The home was so cute with its Rustic Lake House decor. We were wanting to unplug, unwind and just hang out with our friends and this was the perfect place for it. Super quiet area! We saw lots of wildlife which was fun for the kiddos. The back porch was absolutely delightful for any time of day. We honestly stayed so busy we didn’t get to use the fire pit as much as we’d like, but how nice and convenient it was! I’m definitely keeping this place saved because our group already wants to start planning its next trip back! Thank you Kelly for offering such a wonderful space. So happy we found your place!
