5 Bedroom Cottage in Tudor and Cashel, Gilmour

peaceful hill top cottage is the perfect place for you and your family to disconnect, and communicate, no WiFi by choice.
Phone signal sometimes spoty.
Surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature, the cottage is situated in a unique way that offers many seating areas with stunning views of the lake.
Enjoy the lake by taking a a 2 minute stroll down the hill and across the road.
A beautiful park like setting is awaiting you ,
where you can swim off the dock, take in the sun, watch the sunset, do some fishing and have an evening fire.
(check for regulations).
Before you start a fire, please check the municipal website or office to ensure there is no FIRE BAN in place that would prevent any burning.
FIRE
There is no day burning allowed within the Township from April 01 to October 31st between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm.
After this time, should you wish to burn, please ensure that the size of your burn pile is no bigger than 2mx 2m x2m. Please also ensure you have proper equipment and individuals to control the fire.

The space
The newly renovated open spaced kitchen is fully equipped and will have you cooking up your favorite meals in no time. There are even fresh herbs on the balcony for you to enjoy.
There are: 2 fully furnished living rooms, (upper and ground)
3 full bathrooms
2 large decks with 1 propane BBQ
2 Fire pits
The cottage is set up for two families with two separate living rooms and kitchens.
Guest access,
Guest have access to the whole house and lake with dock.
Other things to note
Please note that ALL GARBAGE must be taken by guests or brought to dump on specific days that it is open(dates are available at time of booking). If you are unable to abide by this rule, please make other arrangements with the host.
Please under no circumstances can garbage left outside because of wild animals. Thank you for your consideration.

Summary: It was so much better than I thought it would be. It was the perfect cottage in terms of size, cleanliness, water access, and price for me and a bunch of my friends to come stay the weekend. Susanne was super friendly and a great host. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun little getaway! Also lots of fish in the lake for those who like to fish. I will definitely book this cottage in the future

Summary: Nine of us stayed at Susanne and Mario's cottage on a hill over the Canada day long weekend. Susanne was absolutely lovely to speak with from beginning to end, and the cottage was extremely clean, very well stocked and organized with keys on a hook for access to all spaces, games, movies, cds, records. No wifi but data on phones was mosly not an issue. Weather was not expected to be ideal, so she even offered an early check in/late check out which was so appreciated! Thank you!!! The property has landscaping and gardens throughout, as well as a garage space set up as a games room. There are abundant gathering spaces for all, (2 kitchens and living rooms, 2 firepits stocked with firewood, 3 deck table spaces on 2 large decks, dock space by the water, the aforementioned games room) we didnt even use them all! We were very comfortable in the 5 bedrooms, 4 with queen beds and 1 single. My wife and I personally enjoyed the purple master bedroom with ensuite. Susanne had even left a flower bouquet and a welcome bag and with some thoughtful items for our time there. We had so many laughs and many memories made, each one of us would absolutely return. Swimming area was great, water shoes recommended. Boats available for use. A tent gazebo for bugs or rain in that area. Bugs were not terrible but youre a bit north so come prepared. The property is on a graded hill, come prepared also to be walking uphill. You will get your steps in! Thanks for a great stay from all of us!!
