OVERVIEW: Relax and rejuvenate in this private condo on a quiet hilltop retreat, in a very quiet and safe family neighborhood (we don't lock our cars at night).

This fully remodeled unit includes one bedroom with Queen Sleep Number mattress (with remote to adjust the firmness on each side), one bathroom, washer/dryer, AC, heater, two 40-inch TVs, crazy-fast Internet, and ample parking! It is super clean, private, and roomy. Nicely equipped kitchen truly has EVERYTHING you will need.
For couples, solo, TDY, and business travelers. The living room couch is also a queen-sized bed, to accommodate up to two additional guests.

THE SPACE: Enjoy gathering in the living room to watch the 43-inch TV, or relax and watch the 40-inch TV in the master bedroom. Both sets have Apple TV, and streaming is great with the fastest Internet in town. This hotel-style accommodation includes everything you expect, and more that you don’t – from utilities, water, AC, heating, paper towels, napkins, TP and shampoo. Kitchen equipment includes cookware, appliances, and almost anything you can think of.
GUEST ACCESS: The whole house! It has its own parking, entrance, courtyard, and an amazing view. (You are assigned one Guest Parking Space; for more vehicles, we have ample street parking.)
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: We live next door and are always available to help.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Our neighborhood is in the quiet suburbs of East San Diego County, a single-family residential area called El Cajon. It is super safe; in fact, we don't even lock our cars at night. The property is generally sunnier than the coast, while still enjoying easy access to beaches, mountains & deserts. Nearby restaurants, malls, and grocery stores in Santee (7 minutes away). Beach access is only about 25 minutes, on the 52 or the 8.
DRIVING: We are just a quick 4 minutes from the I-52 and I-8 freeways, providing easy access to everywhere.

Summary: My wife and I wanted to escape to warmer weather for a couple of months this winter and this property worked great for us - as did the San Diego weather. Strategically located near major connecting freeways, we were able to get any of our destinations in less than 30 minutes (non-rush hours). The small well furnished one bedroom ‘mother-in-law’ apartment had a comfortable bed, two large wall mounted TVs , strong wifi and nice kitchen and bathroom. For a retired vacationing couple what more can you ask for? Will definitely plan to return again in the future.

Summary: I'll keep this short. We had an amazing stay at this unique condo. From the decor, the kitchen, to the tails, squirrels, and birds, it was both tranquil and functional.

Summary: Everything was just as advertised. The location is best. Away from the city frenzy yet 5 min from the 3 major San Diego freeways. We were at the beach in 25 min or downtown in 15 min. Very new and clean. Everything from the fully stocked kitchen to the laundry was great. Lots of outdoor play stuff for our child. Our heater stopped one night, and the owner set a repairman the next day. We will definitely stay again next time I am set to SD for an extended stay. Ari, Sabrina, and little Samuel

Summary: They actually made a huge sandbox with real beach sand. WOW. And the kitchen was as thoughtful also. You can really cook here. Even the bed is very well thought out. They use a sleep number bed so both I and my wife can set a firmness. The hosts mentioned that guests were complaining with the ones from Europe like firm beds, and the Americas liking softer ones, so they went and got a sleep number bed that you set via a remote. Good solution. Basically, the place is great. Could use more chairs for dinner events with guests. We loved living here for my cardio rotation. Dr. Kahneman

Summary: You can really cook and live there. Everything looks new and it all has been set up so nicely. All I can really say it "Super comfortable". Perfect for families. Lots of fun outdoor things for the kids (like a huge sandbox with real beach sand) and quite a backyard jungle areas with trails. I couldn't quite get into all the high-tech stuff, the bed that you can set the firmness of with remote control (it uses an air pump), or the amazing entertainment system. I couldn't get the dishwasher to work, but didn't ask the hosts, I am used to washing by hand. The private parking circle is a great idea. We will miss this place. I can't believe I am sad to go back to my remodeled condo. Sandy S

Summary: Beautiful unit. I lot of hosts say they have a fully equipped kitchen, but obviously, they have never tried to cook there. Our family did and it was worked perfectly. I can see why this unit gets such high reviews. From the import granite floors and island to the small touches. It is true to everything that was in the description. I think two extra dining chairs would be great for dinner guests and mentioned that to the hosts.

Summary: I think what I loved best about this unit are two things. 1 - Waking up to the sound of birds chirping (kinda like a cabin feel, but in a modern apartment). 2 - that is was out of the city, but right by the freeway. I could be anywhere in San Diego in 10 to 25 min. My vote. Thumbs up!

Summary: What a perfect place to spend a few weeks! The small apartment was clean and well-appointed (including Apple TV) for a multi-week stay for two of us. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (including many of the herbs and misc. items one needs to cook...oil, coffee, etc.) and the bathroom, though small, was very nice. They could use another small chair (bean bag?) that could be moved around in the LR, but other than that, we felt it was great. It's in a very quiet, residential area, but near freeways and great shopping and restaurants. The managers are next door, and are very helpful with anything you need. Highly recommend this place!

Summary: We have stayed here before and loved it...finding it VERY comfortable and convenient to everything we needed (too comfortably close to some fun restaurants!) The bed is comfy (air bed with dual controls), shower/bath is nice with everything one needs, washer/dryer was very convenient, the kitchen is well-appointed for making simple meals, and the area is quiet, yet offers easy access to the major highways.
