Summary: We had a nice stay. My husband's family had a summer cottage with 8 acres on Lake Wequaquet from the 1930s to 1970s (we got married there) and my in-laws had a home and antique clock shop/Nantucket Basket business on 6A for many years. This house was perfect for us, 3 generations ages 17-74 and 3 cars - central to everything. The air conditioning was nice except a bit cold in the rooms it was in (66 degrees). I turned it up a bit a few days into our stay and down before we left. The ones who slept in the basement found it too hot and humid. We did a lot of cooking and eating there before and after we went off for the day. We had homemade chowder that could have used a ladle and we left it, not knowing how to dispose of it. Our biggest problem was coordinating people and cars for day trips. We had a wonderful stay in the house.

Summary: This house was a beautiful house. Everything was so clean. It's a very spacious house and fit everyone very comfortably. The kitchen had everything you needed. We also grilled outside. It doesn't have cable so we had to go to a restaurant to watch the Celtics playoff game (which they won in the final second). There's a jacuzzi but it's not for guests to use. It was a perfect location for us because we had our boat at Barnstable Harbor and that's only minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Three families got together in this home for a little long weekend. The size of the house was perfect. Very large and enough space for all of us. Having two bathrooms was great too. Neighborhood was quiet and had plenty of parking. The outside patio was perfect for grilling. The basement was way too hot to sleep in, so that was a bummer- we stuck those kids on the couches upstairs. Out of the three bedrooms upstairs, only the master bedroom had an AC, so we had to leave the door open so the other two bedrooms could get some cool air as it was too hot for them to shut the doors. The house is a little dated, could use some upgrades- like the bedding. Plenty of kitchen supplies but only one roll of paper towels was there. Beware of the sprinklers. They go off every day at 9am. lol

Summary: The property is on a very quiet street and well equipped with cooking needs if you are tired of dine out and like to make a meal. Overall the property is fairly clean. The owner just lives next door and is super friendly. He shared a lot of tourism ideas. Just a couple minor suggestions: a new dining table cover and better bathroom hygiene products. The shampoo and conditioner are different brands and look old.

Summary: We arrived on Thursday in the evening. We realized there was no internet connection. On Friday I got the runaround with the management company. They did not answer my call and trying to text them was only frustrating. Why should we spend our vacation trying to get the WiFi working? We checked out on Monday and had to go outside each time we needed to use our phones for anything. We were promised a 25.00 per day rebate for the inconvenience but if you need a reliable internet connection, this was not the case for us. Otherwise the home was just as expected. We enjoyed our stay despite the inconvenience.
