Summary: This was a wonderful stay in Charleston...the condo was charming and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there...the hostess was wonderful and very helpful with anything we needed...I definitely hope we get another chance to go and stay there again!!

Summary: Charleston is my happy place and spending time at 1 King Street only confirmed this. The condo is ideal for 1-2 people and has everything you need. It's gorgeous and modern with views that never quit. On top of that, you can walk to shops, restaurants, and the neighborhood grocery store. As a solo traveler, I always felt safe - in the building and walking around Charleston. I will definitely be back!

Summary: If you want to really experience Charleston, this is where to do it. The entire “South of Broad” is a historical and architectural treat and 1 King Street allows you to enjoy it at the pace it was designed for... a walking pace. The views are to die for especially the sunsets over the Ashley River and harbor. The park adjacent to your location is magnificent at all times of day but even more so in the evening or early morning. It is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo that is beautifully set up and is probably optimal for not more than 2 maybe 3 persons. We are going to miss being here so close to all of Charleston’s ongoing cultural and historical bounty. Basically we parked our car in the attached lot and walked everywhere for the past 4 months. It is an honor to be able to write a recommendation for this property. The city and especially this part of the city is a true national treasure.

Summary: I am a frequent guest of this hidden gem. It is truly luxurious and has all of the amenities of a downtown pied-à-terre -- 24 hour security, gated pool, new lavish furnishings throughout and a view like no other. There is plenty of parking - unlike many other downtown properties and is only steps away from world class restaurants and shops. Wish I could spend the winter here as it is perfect for spending several months a year. The grand foyer of this building is reminiscent of the 1920's and it's grand architecture is truly breathtaking. John Kennedy was even known to have stayed in the building. Thank you for sharing your pied-à-terre and for maintaining such a high standard as I have truly enjoyed my stays.
