Summary: The unit looks like the photos. Nicely decorated. First thing we noticed was an overpowering air freshener. We removed them which got rid of that smell, but then there was a musty smell. The A/C in the bedroom was very noisy, for at least 6 hours after we shut it off. Not sure what is going on there? The fan above the bed works great as a fan/light. but the chain was missing to turn the light off. So we couldn't use the fan at night. The bathroom door knob was very loose. The controls for hot and cold water in the shower were loose and a challenge to get to work. Would we stay again? Probably not. Not horrible, but not what we are accustomed to.

Summary: One of the main reason I use VRBO is to cook but the kitchen is missing simple things like plastic wrap, Aluminum Foil, storage containers and spices/seasonings. The kitchen does need to be better equipped with those items. Plates pans and flatware or good.

Summary: The apartment was fine for our two night stay. We were only there at night to sleep and shower. The apartment was very clean but had an intense smell of Pinesol or some type of cleaning supply that was very strong throughout our stay. We tried to air out the apartment, but temps were quite chilly. The bedroom could use better lighting as it’s quite dark. Other sections of the apartment are cute and quaint . The housecleaner that lives next door is very nice.

Summary: The property was clean, easy to access and convenient. We were in town to do some birding on the Pacific Flyway and found the additional inclusion of the Colusa Chinatown development to be an interesting additional piece of cultural for the area.

Summary: This building was real neat, historic for sure. All amenities: nice dishwasher, fridge, all appliances , dishes, etc… it was perfect and cozy for our trip to spend with family. It rained the whole time so the Wi-Fi/TV came in great for staying in and watching movies. The furniture was comfy and spacious. Beautiful antique pieces. It was nice considering. This place could really use a good deep cleaning and updated bedding & towels. Understood good help is hard to find though in a depressed area such as Colusa. It’s real close to the Sacramento River so it gets a lot of traffic for the Levee Park across the street. Not much for shopping or healthy food in this small town. It’s interesting, once in a lifetime, stayed in Colusa Chinatown Historic district. Wow, no place like home. With love from Colorado

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this charming and historic property. Centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and other points of interest, the home itself is thoughtfully decorated, comfortable and welcoming. The Levee Park is right across the street for a walk along the Sacramento River. The Colusa National Wildlife Refuge is just a few minutes away by car, and is definitely worth a visit; there are hiking trails, wildlife viewing decks, and a 3-mile auto tour of these managed wetlands that host thousands of migratory and resident birds every year... definitely a highlight of our trip!

Summary: Spent a few days in Colusa where my family is from. This place is terrific, all the more for its historical importance. Walking distance to downtown with its collection of new restaurants and old favorites. Time it right you can go to Farmer’s Market. River front out the door and up small levee. Totally recommend hanging out up there at sunset.
