Summary: We had a wonderful time there! The house and the property are large and perfectly suited our group of three families and friends. It has a master bedroom on the first floor, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the second floor and a large bedroom next to a family room and a toilet on the third floor. It was very clean and well stocked with bed linens and towels. The kitchen and the dining room are spacious, with plenty of plates, glasses and utensils of all sorts for entertaining a big group. It is easy to spread around the house and find a quiet space. The house is tastefully decorated with many period pieces and has a warm feel of a home, where some corners might be not straight, but very well cared for. Ron, the manager, was very generous to allow us to stay a few hours longer on our departure to wait out the rain. Thank you!

Summary: The pictures don’t do this house justice. This home worked perfectly for our trip to Mohegan Sun for a volleyball tournament. We had 4 families and the space was perfect. The kids slept up in the 3rd floor space and had their own 1/2 bath up there. The house was well laid out and had everything we could possibly need. The house keeper Ron was extremely helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This is a great place to stay. The house is fully equipped and is very comfortable. We were able to cook a meal for 9 with no problem. There is plenty of room for multiple simultaneous activities. There is a big grocery store 4 miles away, you are a 30 minute drive to the Connecticut River valley with state parks and tourist activities, and 30 minutes to the Long Island Sound for swimming and kayaking. There are multiple local farms stands and dairy farm ice creme stands, and also summer theaters. The local manager, Ron, was just great - always available and checking on in periodically. This is my second year here and I plan to be back next year.

Summary: We only stayed a few days but wish it could have been more. We had a wonderful ladies weekend with time spent at the house inside / outside and at the nearby attractions. The property is stunning and had enough space (bathrooms, bedrooms, and furniture for us all). The property owner, manager and other folks associated with the property were all so helpful and proactive to reach out in advance of the trip. I highly recommend this property as it was absolutely perfect!
