Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The rooms are big, light & bright & tastefully decorated. The apartment was in an older building & I liked that it had been updated but hadn’t lost all of its character. The host was quick to respond to questions. The location was perfect for our needs-we walked to dinner at Lafayette’s Music Room & if you’re a runner, Overton Park is just about a mile down the road. I also enjoyed running around the Central Garden District with its historic homes! Downtown Memphis is about 12 minutes west, an easy drive or Uber. Some things the owner/property manager could improve: -Wi-Fi was not very strong -The breaker kept going off with too many things plugged in to the same outlet (outlet space is at a premium since it’s an older home) -The light from the entry hallway shines into the master bedroom at night-recommend putting a blackout curtain on the front door window or over the doorway from living room to the bedroom -Memphis was on a boil order when we arrived & really nothing was done by the host to communicate this or accommodate it. We had to bring in our own water. For what we paid for this VRBO, none of this was terrible but could be improved for future guests. Thank you!
