Positive: Location to the beach - few minutes away. Staff will meet you at the jetty to guide you to the guesthouse. Snorkelling equipment available. Went to see manta rays, and one of the staff member stayed near me all the time as it was my first time.
Negative: The tourist beach nearby had a lot of trash from other tourists. Don't see a proper trash bin or cleaning services. Also, flies and mosquitoes are numerous at the island - it's ok but can get annoying.

Positive: Beautiful and unforgetable We have had a great stay at Hitha on Omadhoo. Beautiful island and nature. Perfect location of the hotel. Clean room with addicting limegrass scent. Beautiful meals on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff provided us great trips for snorkeling, mantas and whale shark. Unforgetable dinner at the end of our stay. Positive: We loved our stay at Hitha. It was our first stop during our first (two-week) trip to Maldives. Having heard more about the island of Dhigurah, we only booked a couple of nights here and had elected to spend more time on Dhigurah, but in hindsight, we wish we had given more time for our stay at Hitha, all really because of the atmosphere that the hospitable staff create. In fact, we actually seriously looked into/considered a last-minute shortening of our time in Dhigurah after arriving at that island to return to Hitha instead because we missed it and the atmosphere. The place is intimate, clean, and cozy. The team of Farah, Adam, and others make you feel welcome and like you are part of the family. It happened to be my birthday during our short visit, and they surprised me with a wonderful treat. Loved the breakfasts just outside the courtyard on the beach overlooking the ocean as the waves quietly washed the shore (also enjoyed the dinners). The location is conveniently close to the arrival/departure port but also the bikini beach (just a few minutes' walk). They were super helpful at arranging our speedboat transfer from Male Airport and communicated everything we needed to do beforehand. Since our stay was brief, we did not do any excursions with them so cannot speak from firsthand experience, but after seeing some of the video taken during an excursion they led for another guest the day we had arrived, we wish we would have done one with them instead of waiting to do it at Dhigurah. Loved the provision of filtered water, cooled in the common area refrigerator (and not limited to just one bottle a day like another place we stayed). Also loved the provision of separate beach and shower towels. We brought mosquito spray (which I would recommend for the local islands), but it was not very effective, and they suggested some we could get locally, which turned out to be a life-saver!
Negative: Not sure if this falls under Hitha's purview, but I would suggest investing in some better/more beach chairs/loungers at the bikini beach. When we went to enjoy the beach, it could be tough to find a nice place to lay/sit. Particularly as tourism rises (we saw a few more hotels being built during our stay), guests will likely want to have more seating. Granted, Dhigurah had perhaps even less even though its tourism has already taken off, but we were pleasantly surprised by the infrastructure set up at the bikini beach on Mahibadhoo during our ferry stop there, and think Omadhoo could easily set up something similar.

Positive: We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hitha Maldives, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was seamless. The hotel itself is stunning. Our room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed to feel good. Breakfast was a highlight on the beach every morning! We also had a dinner on the beach and it was an absolut dream! The location is also perfect, centrally located, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions, yet peaceful enough to unwind at the end of the day. The sandbank and the beach next to the Hotel are also absolut dreamy! What truly sets Hitha Maldives apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, we highly recommend Hitha Maldives for anyone. We will definitely be back!

Positive: From the very first second on the island we had an absolutely pleasant stay at Hitha Maldives. We were picked up at the harbor and welcomed with a fresh coconut and self made palm leaf crown. All the people working at Hithas were kind, helpful and did their best to create the most enjoyable experience on the Maldives. The location of the hotel was by far the best on the island with a privet beach dining and hang out area and just a short walk to the tourist beach. The hotel is very comfortable and nicely designed. We definitely appreciate the tea kitchen for helping ourselves to coffee/tea and the filtered water in glass bottles.

Positive: Our 5 night stay at Hitha was very enjoyable. The accomodation was comfortable, the location - a few minutes walk to the best swimming and snorkelling beaches - was perfect, especially for our 4 year old daughter. The breakfasts on the beach were tasty and memorable. We also booked a few delicious dinners with Hitha which were also served on the adjacent beach. The staff were communicative, helpful, kind and thoughtful. We all look forward to coming back!
Negative: Hitha was perfect for our needs, there was nothing to dislike! This isn’t a criticism but I would suggest providing a bit more info on the diverse day trips and outings that can be booked through Hitha - we might have booked a few had we known earlier.
