2 Bedroom House in Holden Beach

RECENTLY RENOVATED with new flooring, rugs, carpets and trim painting throughout.
Freshly Painted exterior, including all decks and railings.
Very little actual carpeting, easier to keep clean.
Beautiful, two-level, luxury, duplex home located on quiet street at "The Family Beach." Perfect for one, two, or three couples, small families.
Fantastic views from 4 decks. Backs up to marshland, Intercoastal Waterway - watch the boats go by from the multi-level back decks. Half block from beach with semi-private access (no public access there means less crowd)- undeveloped lots in front provide for great ocean views and sounds. See the ocean and listen to the waves crash as you relax on either of the two front decks. All decks are furnished, recently painted/stained, matted for cooling and lower decks and patio provide shade if desired.
Light colors and picture windows on three of four walls give great bright and open feel, very sunny. We recently updated the Master bedroom with new twin mattresses that convert to a King if desired. Families seem to appreciate the flexibility.
On the right day you will see one of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable off of our back decks.
Updated, Florida Villa style decorations. Comfortable furnishings, breakfast bar, vaulted ceilings, well equipped kitchen are a few living features. Dining and breakfast bar seats seven for meals.
Three TVs (36 inch big screen in living room, wall-mounted flat screen 20 inch in master, 32 in smart TV in guest), free wifi, DVD, cd player and digital cable provide in-house entertainment options.
Large backyard, barbecue/picnic area. Paved cement patio, driveway and under-house (on pilings) parking for multiple vehicles/boat. A freshly renovated outdoor shower and changing area are available for cleaning up the family after the beach.
Full weeks only during summer. Nightly rentals available (minimum stay) in offseason or last-minute during high-season if vacant, please feel free to email, we are very busy but will get back to you.
Holden has a variety of restaurant options, boutique shopping and world class golf within a few miles. It is very unique in that there are numerous entertainment, dining, recreation and shopping optons on one side of the "big bridge", while the island itself across the bridge is mainly houses, quiet and peaceful. It is the quiet getaway many are looking for, with the conveniences to make it enjoyable right there as well.
Boat, jet-ski rentals available at HB Marina. Fishing and crabbing areas readily available.
We love our "home away from home" and think you will too. We have traveled all over the world and find Holden to be the best beach anywhere for a relaxing, quiet, courteous coastal vacation.

Summary: We had a wonderful week at the beach. We have been coming to Holden for over 20 years and it’s always fabulous. The house was cute. Could have had a few more amenities but would stay again communication with Eric was fabulous. He could not have been more helpful

Summary: Great house and location. housekeeping staff should replenish supplies like paper towels and toilet paper more completely as we nearly ran out of both but to me, that isn’t on the owner. Eric communicated well before and during the trip. This house is a bit older but has been well taken care of. Would definitely stay there again!!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival - a huge plus for my wife as she’s sensitive to odors, both uncleanliness or strong harsh cleaning agents. This property was clean and had neither. No problems with check-in or check-out. Simple cleaning requirements - unlike some VRBOs that charge an exhorbitant cleaning fee PLUS have you white glove the property. Basically it was cleaning up after ourselves = take the trash out, run the dishwasher, put everything back where it started, clean food out of fridge…the stuff your mom would expect you to do anyway :-) Comfortable beds. Nice to have on-suite bathrooms in both bedrooms. The property is fairly dated as far as appliances, bathrooms, kitchen, etc, but everything worked well. Also, as a plus, the air conditioner was able to keep up with the heat fairly well. It was still much warmer upstairs than downstairs, but it was more comfortable than many beach vacation rentals I’ve had.

Summary: The house is just as Eric describes. It is in a safe and quiet location with easy access to the beach. While it is an older home, it is clean and taken care of. We would stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area for the price and location.
