This beautifully decorated, comfortable and pleasant holiday apartment is in a quiet little village called Kaldanija, just a ten-minute drive from the town of Umag which is worth seeing. Other Istrian towns worth seeing such as Porec, Rovinj or Pula are quick and easy to get to via the motorway.
This accommodation consists of two separate apartments connected via outdoor stairs and which are only rented out together. The living space totalling 220m² comprises six bedrooms, each of which has its own separate bathroom. There is also an additional bathroom with a shower. Four of the bedrooms are on the upper floor and two are downstairs. All the beds have standard measurements (double bed 180 x 200cm and single bed 90 x 200cm). The lower apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen including a gas stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. The living room is very pleasantly decorated and provides comfortable furniture and an LCD TV with Astra satellite channels. There are also two spacious terraces above the living room and some of the bedrooms, where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
The well-kept, fenced and undisturbed garden, which is for your own exclusive use, has a swimming pool, a children’s swing, a trampoline, table tennis, a grill, garden furniture and so on, so you can enjoy relaxing holiday days to the full here. There are parking spaces right in front of the house.
The hosts run a very successful restaurant (on the ground floor), where wonderful local specialties are prepared, such as local fish from the Adriatic, pasta, meat dishes, pizza from the stone oven or Roman pot. Another specialty of the house are truffle dishes. You also have the option to order a breakfast or dinner or both in the form of half board in consultation with the host. Menus are also offered for € 10, including starters, main courses, salads or dessert and breakfast for € 7 per person from the hosts. As a welcome, the hosts spend a lunch or dinner.
The nearest beach is Kanegra, a short drive away. The town of Umag is known for the ATP tennis tournament that is held at the end of July. Umag has many sports and water sports to offer. You can also visit the old towns of Motovun, Groznjan or Rovinj with their vineyards and old fortifications that reveal the history of Istria. You can go on a boat trip and take the opportunity to get to know the land from the sea. There are two newly built water parks just a few minutes’ drive away.
