These are two comfortable studios in a typical Sicilian noble villa from the 19th century, situated somewhat outside of the centre of Pozzallo, in an absolutely quiet and idyllic location.
The apartments open onto a Sicilian courtyard (baglio) and have a private area there right in front of the entrance with a table, chairs and parasol.
The interior courtyard is an oasis of tranquility with many carob trees. Guests can make use of a clothes stand, garden furniture grill and outdoor shower, as well as a wellness area with a Jacuzzi (supplementary charge). There is parking space on site.
It is a typical rural access road without tarmac (trazzera).
The property is also suitable for families with children (children’s bed and highchair available. Pets are allowed.

The villa is about 1.5km from the beautiful sandy and golden beaches of Ragusa province. As the property is on a hill, the panoramic view stretches to the coast at Ragusa and the vibrant town Pozzallo. The area is especially rich in places of interest: the towns of the Sicilian baroque, many nature reserves, museums, castles and Punta Secca, a place that has gained renown through the crime fiction by Andrea Camilleri and his inspector Montalbano. From the harbour at Pozzallo, there are direct ferry connections to the island of Malta, taking just 75 minutes. The villa is 50km from Comiso airport. Riding is one of the many leisure activities you can enjoy nearby (reservations possible in advance). Shops and services can be found in the centre of Pozzallo about 1000 metres away.
The studio measures around 30m² and has its own entrance.
It consists of a cosy living room-bedroom with a cooking niche, a dining table, a sofa bed for one person (80 x 190cm) and a double bed (160 x 190cm), as well as a bathroom with a shower cubicle. The wooden ceiling beams make the room cosy. The studio is equipped with a TV, air conditioning, wardrobe, towels, bed linen, cooking utensils, a fridge and washing machine.
The studio also has access to a typical Sicilian interior courtyard (baglio), which is shared with guests at two further apartments and affords a view of the lush carob trees.
The studio is about 1.5km from the lovely, golden, sandy beaches of Ragusa province. The area is particularly rich in sights: the Sicilian baroque towns, many nature reserves, museums, castles and Punta Secca (which became known through the TV series Commissario Montalbano). It is an hour and 15 minutes by boat to the island of Malta from Pozzallo harbour. The studio is about 50km from Comiso airport. It is also possible to take riding lessons (to be booked in advance). There are shops and services in the centre of Pozzallo, just over 1000 metres away.
