INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
The cottage is a freestanding building located at the back of our family home with it's own private entrance. We lead busy lives so you may not run into us at all but we are always available to attend to your queries.
The NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Coogee is in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney just 8km from the City centre. Perfectly located between Randwick Junction and Coogee Beach the cottage is truly a home away from home
Coogee Beach is a short stroll away. The beach is well known for its family friendly swimming and its night time party life. There is a lovely children’s playground close to the cottage.
Coogee has many local cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and pubs - you will never be short of something to do during your stay. You can start the Coogee to Bondi Coastal walk from the house.
GETTING AROUND:
Centrally located close to all amenities. Walking distance to Coogee Beach, supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants.
Walking distance to the Light Rail station which will take you to the Central Station and the CBD. The bus stops are 5 mins walk from the house with direct bus route to the city, Circular Quay, Central Railway Station and Bondi Junction.

Late check-out and early check-in is available where possible.

HOUSE RULES:
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following rules:
The cottage overlooks the swimming pool. Use of the pool is not included in the tariff.
No parking on premises. Street parking is free 24/7.
For security reasons, confirmed names for all guests staying at the property is required prior to check-in.
No parties or gatherings of more than the 8 people in the property. Any non-guests must leave by 11:00 pm. And there should strictly be no loud noise after 10:00 pm.
We have no smoking policy, either inside the apartment or anywhere on our property.
Please be mindful of the use of appliances and switch off all appliances when leaving the house.
Refrain from oily or stong odour cooking. An extra deep cleaning fee is applicable to remove strong odour from the property upon departure.
Leave the flat neat and tidy in the same state as when you checked in. The cleaning fees covers change of linen and towels, general cleaning of bathroom , kitchen and hard surfaces, dusting, vacuum and mop upon departure in accordance with airbnb guidelines. If the property is messy or there are stains on walls / carpets / cushions / linens, an extra fee will be requested depending on the additional cleaning or replacement/fixing fee (minimum of $50).

Summary: We arrived at the property & it’s exactly as described. It’s very clean & has everything you need.The location is perfect & the nearest beach is a 12 min walk. You can catch a tram into central Sydney & that again is a 10-12 min walk.Would come back here in a heartbeat.Thank you.

Summary: This 2 bedroom studio is perfectly set up. The most comfortable beds with good quality bed linen giving it a hotel feel. If cooking is your thing, the kitchen has everything you desire. Good water pressure in the shower too which I feel is rare in Sydney. It's an easy walk to cafes, supermarkets, public transport and most importantly the beach. I will be back for sure. Summary: The property is spacious and very well appointed with all the facilities you need for a short or an extended stay - we stayed for 19 nights. Our host, Nancy is a lovely person and very hospitable and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is not too far from central Randwick where there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants, and also a short walk down to Coogee beach and its facilities. We often had breakfast at the local X74 cafe on Bream Street which is a 5 minute walk from the property. The. cafe is very welcoming and offers superb and healthy breakfasts and brunch. In summary, Nancy's property is a great place to stay and we shall certainly stay there again when we are visiting our family in Randwick.

Summary: The cottage was as clean and well equipped as advertised. The location was perfect, everything was a walkable distance. Nancy left detailed instructions for everything I needed and was otherwise available for any questions or concerns. I would happily stay at this location again (and not just because of the welcome wine and chocolates).

Summary: Absolutely loved this stay. Property was immaculate with all services. Nancy, the host was very prompt to reply to requests/queries. Location was perfect for access to Coogge Beach and restaurants and all shopping facilities close by. Randwick is within walking distance and has a full range of shopping services. Light Rail is 10 min walk away with access to Sydney centre. Cannot recommend this property enough.

Summary: The cottage is individuel and quiet, very functionnel, have all equipements need for holidays. All commerces & bar are very close. On september, the parking on the street is quite easy to find arround proximity. Past excellent stay.

Summary: Everything went very smoothly and thanks to Nancy for being a great host. The unit has all the facilities a family requires, furnished kitchen, washing machine and drier. The bedrooms size are good and there is plenty of cupboard space. The unit is close to Coogee beach, supermarkets and restaurants. Great stay overall!

Summary: We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our month staying in Coogee. Nancy was so helpful and thoughtful, providing some basic items in the kitchen to get us started including wine and chocolates. Thank you Nancy!! The beds were super comfy and the shower and all the kitchen facilities were top notch. The location is superb, only a short walk to the light rail line into the city and the journey time right to Circular Quay only took about 35 minutes. Bondi Junction is even closer - just a 15 minute bus ride took us to lots of shops. Coogee Beach itself is beautiful and only a 10-15 minute walk away. We loved the Morning Glory Cafe right on the beach for coffee and food. The coastal walk north to Bondi is very manageable even for “oldies” like us and we also ventured south to Maroubra. Some of the views are breathtaking!! The only slight problem we had was the difficulty finding somewhere to park. We often had to park about 5-8 minutes walk from the property but on occasions could park right outside so it didn’t bother us too much except when it was raining, which it did a fair bit. All in all we had a great time and it made my son's wedding all the more memorable. I would book this accommodation again in a heartbeat. We’ll definitely be back again!!
