Summary: Property is basic but has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen. Garden is beautiful and well maintained. On arrival the outside appearance lets the property down. But once inside it gets better. Located just outside Kinvara so good location for Aliwee caves, Cliffs Moher & fab local beaches.

Summary: The previous reviews were all pretty accurate in describing Ronan’s Cottage. Garden is very pretty & an adventure playground for kids. The house itself is a good size with plenty of space & ammenities. The location is perfect for exploring Co Clare/ Galway & despite being away during the current COVID epidemic & weather being hit & miss there is still plenty to do. We went kayaking in Galway, hiking in the Burren, surfing in Lahinch, cycled out along Flaggy Shore for ice cream, ran in the rain around Coole Park, visited the local chocolate factory & enjoyed the waves at the local Traught Beach. Wetsuits for the family are a must! Our kids 6&10 will probably remember this holiday more than the usual trip to Spain!

Summary: Spent a week at Ronan’s house following lockdown. It’s a great house walking distance to Kinvara village. Lots of beds which were very comfy. Kitchen is well equipped but maybe a bit small if you have a lot of people. The best bit is the garden which is really lovely. Overall a very enjoyable time.

Summary: If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton, this is not the place. If you want a clean and respectable house in a great location, this is the place. Ronan works well with what he has. Good parking as well.

Summary: Very interesting, quirky home with beautiful garden located within walking distance of town. Kinvarra has grocery store, pub/restaurant and very nice restaurant. Location very close to County Clare and Galway.

Summary: We rented this property from Ronan for two nights over New Years' and had a great time. The house was spotless and perfect for a big group, and Kinvara village is only a fifteen minute walk away or so. Ronan was a great host and made us feel really welcome. We'd love to come back and would recommend this property to anyone!

Summary: The house (especially the dining table) is just perfect! It fit everyone and no one had any complaints about anything. If I ever go back to Kinvara, this will always be my first choice :)

Summary: This cottage is perfect for two families to share as plenty of space. It is eclectic and quirky. We loved the huge kitchen table that easily seated 12 and the garden. The children spent most evenings making dens and there is a large pond and fire pit for toasting marshmallows. There is a lovely quay about a mile across the road which is perfect for crabbing. The main road is busy so would be worried if had very young children as there is no gate to the car parking spaces. There is a petrol station a few minutes away which has a shop and Kinvara only 10 minute walk. We loved it and would return.
