Summary: The whole experience couldn't have been better. A beautiful property. Clean, spacious, comfortable, plenty of amenities and thoughtfully provisioned. Wonderful cliff top location with a back gate leading out to a super coastal path. Easy access to Teide and nearby towns plus spacious private parking. When we return to Tenerife we will surely want to stay here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at El Mar. Everything was perfect. Carlos gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. The house is well equipped. Carlos even arranged a nice bottle of wine, cheese and bread for the first evening. The place is nice with a lovely garden and pool. The view to the ocean on the other side of the house is outstanding. We can recommend the holiday home El Mar. Raimund and Ute 17 May 2024

Summary: The comunication from the owner was prompt and very friendly also very helpful. Carlos will respond to all questions prior to and while in the property clearly and in a very friendly manner. The property is very well equipped and extremely tidy. One of the nice ideas is that the previous visitors have left some esentials ( tea coffee ect) for the next visitors and the owners left a welcome package as well. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the island wanting a relaxing quiet stay.

Summary: Everything about the Villa was amazing. Some people may be disturbed by cockerel next door crowing at 4 am but that’s the countryside.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house! It is situated very close to the sea (you can see the waves from the terrace and the large upstairs balcony), and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks is a constant companion. The house was clean with a reasonably well equipped kitchen, the two bedrooms comfortable and a good size. The garden is very well mantained, with a large tree to provide shade in the afternoon. The pool was super, and the whole garden area felt enclosed and private. Carlos was very welcoming and helpful, and remained in contact throughout our stay if we needed help with anything. The beach is only a few minutes walk away, but you can't really swim there, as the waves and rocks are too wild. The location is a good base to explore the island. We had a hire car so can't say anything about the local transport, but most journeys took between 30 mins and an hour, often along very bendy roads! Some of the walks we wanted to do were closed due to the recent fires, but there was still plenty of dramatic landscape to admire in other parts of the island. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, and loves to hear the sound of the sea!

Summary: Carlos has been an amazing host and we have loved our time here at El Mar! The views from the property are beautiful and the house is very well equipped. It's lovely to be in a different part of Tenerife and explore.

Summary: The house has 2 good sized bedrooms and a large open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. There are 2 bathrooms, both with showers. Garden is pretty with sun in the morning and views of mountains, we didn't use the pool but it looked OK. Verandah on sea-facing side has sun in the afternoon/evening and lovely sea views. You can hear the sea from all parts of the property. Nearest restaurants are in the next village, 20-30 minute walk along coastal path. Lidl is 10 minutes away near the highway. Ideal for self-caterers, no discos or bars!
