Very pretty detached holiday home with a large garden, overlooking the river in the small, listed village of Montclus, in the Ardèche. Here, you will be close to many tourist sites, and only 15 km from Vallon Pont d'Arc. This place is ideal for a vacation with family.
Montclus is a superb little medieval village with just 150 inhabitants, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. It sits on a hill surrounded by lavender fields in fine weather, and lush green mountains. The narrow, steep streets, pretty stone houses, and imposing square turrets, remnants of the old castle, give this little village plenty of character. The famous Chauvet cave is just 27 km away.
The house has been beautifully restored, with a modern kitchen, a pleasant, shaded terrace at the front to contemplate the view, and a large sloping garden giving direct access to the river Cèze, where you can swim in complete tranquillity. The house also has WiFi that works fine on the phone, laptop, and tablet. You enter the house via a staircase that leads to the upper floor. To the side of the house is a parking area, perfect for a game of boules. In the basement, the garage has space for 2 cars.

Summary: Wij verbleven 2 weken in deze vakantiewoning in Montclus. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is slecht. De woning is erg gedateerd en afgezien van de keuken voldoet de woning in zijn geheel niet. In de gehele woning is geen fatsoenlijke stoel aanwezig. Het douchen in badkuip is erg gevaarlijk. Er is geen douchegordijn of scherm, waardoor de gehele ruimte kletsnat wordt. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers, maar de tweede slaapkamer is erg klein en het matras heeft beste tijd gehad. Wij hebben geklaagd over de afwezigheid van een goede stoel. Dit is niet serieus genomen door de verhuurder en ook niet door Belvilla. De ligging en uitzicht zijn erg mooi. Wij hadden enorm veel overlast van de buurman die bedrijfsmatig hout verwerkt / verzaagd. De woning grenst aan een riviertje, maar de afdaling er naartoe is erg gevaarlijk en door de gladde rotsen totaal ongeschikt voor kleine kinderen of grotere honden. De oprit naar de woning is onverhard en risicovol door losliggende stenen. Advies; er zijn mooiere en betere woning te huur nabij.

Summary: Aankomst was overweldigend. Montclus is een prachtig klein middeleeuws dorp dat alleen voor inwoner toegankelijk is met de auto. Het vakantiehuis ligt net buiten het dorp, te bereiken via een oude brug over de Cèze en een smal weggetje. Bij aankomst was de eigenares onmiddellijk aanwezig .We werden vriendelijk ontvangen .Het huis is zeer goed in orde en kompleet. Ondanks dat wij de Franse taal niet spreken was de communicatie redelijk begrijpbaar. Het huisje is compleet omheind en bied veel privacy waar je vanuit “ balkon” prachtig uitzicht heb Vanuit je huisje zo naar beneden lopen en zwemmen in de heldere cèze . Onze hond heeft net als wij geduurde onze vakantie een wereldtijd gehad . Volop gelegenheid om te zwemmen , wandelen , en het bezichtigen van dorpjes en stadjes. fam. Mulderij

Summary: We waren hier 10 dagen, eind april tot begin mei, met mooi zonnig weer. Rustig en heel mooi gelegen, typisch zuid-frans huis met een groot eigen terrein er omheen met veel zitjes. Ruim huis met fraai, zonnig balkon met uitzicht op de rivier en veel bomen met allerlei vogels. Er is een fijne keuken, maar gezien de grote vaatwasser relatief wel een wat beperkte hoeveelheid bestek en serviesgoed. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Summary: Aankomst was overweldigend. Montclus is een prachtig klein middeleeuws dorp dat alleen voor inwoner toegankelijk is met de auto. Het vakantiehuis ligt net buiten het dorp, te bereiken via een oude brug over de Cèze en een smal weggetje. Heerlijk huis, beetje sober maar prima. Veel privacy, prachtig gelegen. Omgeving is prachtig.

Summary: Mooie omgeving, met een schitterende rivier direct aan de tuin gelegen. Het huis was erg ruim en erg schoon. Van 1 van de 2 bedden was alleen het matras aan vervanging toe, deze zakte nogal door.

Summary: Een prima vakantiehuis. Mooie rustige omgeving. Heerlijk koud water in de Ceze die onderaan de woning stroomt. Er is voldoende in de woning aanwezig, echter wel afgepast op 6 stuks van...noem maar op. Douchekop kan niet worden opgehangen tijdens douchen. Zeer slecht matras op een smal en klein bed. Na de huurperiode vals beschuldigd van het wegmaken cq meenemen van enkele attributen.

Summary: Bij aankomst was de eigenares onmiddellijk aanwezig .We werden vriendelijk ontvangen .Het huis is zeer goed in orde , van alle comfort voorzien. Gloednieuwe keuken .Het terras van de woning is een zaligheid om van te genieten bij mooi weer .De omgeving is sfeervol , mooie natuur én zeer rustig .
