Summary: The apartment is situated in a typical Sicilian village. The garden has a citrus tree. The apartment has everything you need to have a great stay. From the balcony you have a great view. By car you can visit the beautiful beach of Tusa and many other nice places. The owner of the house gave also some valuable ideas about what to visit when we were there.

Summary: This property is a must go to. It is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous backyard with fruit trees and picnic area. There is a view from the yard and balcony that is spectacular of the hillside and ocean. The home has every single thing that anyone would need and is clean, and perfectly appointed. The people are marvelous and welcoming!! They are absolutely accommodating to any difficulty you may experience and give suggestions – like the festivals which make the stay there so very interesting and enjoyable. Stay there!!

Summary: House with a nice view and all comfort situated in a typical sicilian village slightly in the mountains. Friendly owners as well as the inhabitants of the village. We felt immediately home. Strongly recommended, but a car is required.

Summary: We spent two weeks at the Casa, and we will never forget them (over Christmas, mind you, I can't imagine how amazing it would be in the summer!). If you are looking for the TRUE experience, the real Sicily, one of the most beautiful, historical, culturally rich places on the planet, then you need to stay here. The location is perfect. Vistas of the mountains, minutes from the bluest waters on the sea, and surrounded by medieval villages, pottery towns, fresh fish, cheeses, and wines...The house has everything you could possibly need -- wifi, air conditioning, a barbecue -- is impeccably clean, and is hosted by the wonderful Elisabetta. She's very warm and accommodating and really knows the land. Her family even has an organic olive oil orchard! I travelled with my husband (we're in our late 20s-early 30s), but it would also be ideal for families or groups because there is so much space and the owners are so nice, they'd give you whatever you need. We drove around the island, and Elisabetta was very helpful with directions and parking (no problem there), but you can also take a train to Castel di Tusa and they'll help you get to the house. The nature surrounding the property is stunning. The air is so clean, you can smell citrus and flowers everywhere. It's also very close if you're driving around to other cities on the island, so you get a perfect mix of undisturbed nature and lively culture. We spent our evenings dancing in the local squares underneath medieval churches in the village, after incredible dinners, and then you can go home to your HOUSE, lay back in the garden (which is yours), and watch the stars all night with a bottle of nero d'avola. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Forget the hotels, guys, THIS is the experience you want. I would recommend it to anyone, and we will definitely be back!
