Our holiday home is located in Breskens, approx. 100m from the beach. Restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. The fishing harbour and the marina can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The ferry to Vlissingen is also within walking distance. Our house is situated in a small quiet street.
On the ground floor of our holiday home there is a living room, furnished with a couch, 2 armchairs, wardrobe, sideboard, TV. Also on the ground floor is the fitted kitchen with built-in electric cooker, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, espresso machine, kettle, egg cooker, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, sufficient pots and pans. The fitted kitchen was newly purchased as part of our renovation in 2017... There is also a new extension on the ground floor. There is the dining room with 4 chairs and a dining table as well as a small crockery cupboard. This room has a large double door with access to the patio. From the dining room there is access to a small storage room. The washing machine is located here. Two drying racks are available. There is an internet radio in the dining room. German channels can be received here. The floors on the ground floor are made of laminate, tiles and vinyl design, and further on the ground floor is the new bathroom with glass shower, toilet, washbasin and high-quality bathroom furniture. A hairdryer, soap dispenser and toothbrush mug round off the whole thing, and the upper floor is accessed via a staircase in the living room. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed 1.80 m x 2.00 m, two bedside tables, a wardrobe and a chair. The second bedroom has two single beds 0.90 x 1.90m, a bedside table and a wardrobe. There is a small hallway on this floor with a mirror and a small chest of drawers. The floors on the upper floor are made of high-quality wood and a travel cot and a high chair are available for our little guests if required. A baby monitor is also available. The stairs on the upper floor can be locked from above with a safety gate.
The inner courtyard is not visible from the outside. A large parasol, an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, as well as garden furniture with cushions, an extendable dining table, a chest for the chair cushions, a gas barbecue, an electric table barbecue and a charcoal barbecue are available. Children's sand toys can be found in a small shed in the courtyard. The beach is 100 metres from the courtyard and WLAN is available free of charge. Our holiday home is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The stairs to the upper floor are narrow and not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

There are many good restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity. There are two large supermarkets and a few small shops for shopping, and the marina and fishing harbour are other attractions. At the fishing harbour you can watch the boats dock with their catches of fish and unload their goods. Excursions for adults and children to the seal banks are organised from Breskens. There is a fishing museum at the harbour in Breskens. A visit to this museum is interesting for both adults and children and there is a bicycle hire centre 100 m away. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling excursions. The ferry to Vlissingen departs from Breskens. The towns of Oostburg and Sluis are easy to reach by bike and well worth a visit, as is Bad Cadzand. The reptile zoo "Serpentarium" is one of the attractions there. Not only fans of reptiles will get their money's worth in the Serpentarium in Blankenberge: venomous and constrictor snakes, tarantulas, scorpions and much more can be seen there. The Iguana reptile Zoo in Vlissingen is also interesting for children and adults alike, with reptiles, amphibians and insects from all over the world.
