Summary: First impressions great (even though roadworks on main road, turning to hotel well sign-posted). Friendly welcome explaining the facilities, easy to book parking and lovely to have nice bar/coffee area to relax in. Comfortable chairs and good range of drinks and snacks. Standard double room with king sized bed provided an excellent nights sleep and peaceful setting so refreshed the next day. We took a little stroll around the fishing lake at the back which was beautiful and calm. Overall a very enjoyable stay, highly recommended and convenient for the local attractions.

Summary: Good location A little disappointed with having to pay £5 for parking Service was very slow but that might be because they were new - friendly tho

Summary: Clean and calm room with field view full of Hares and Geese. Clean bathroom, towels and sheets. Mini fridge full of water and too many snacks for free. Swimming pool and gym were great and breakfast was perfect.

Summary: The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional. We also had an excellent meal in the restaurant. The only negative point was that the floor of our bathroom was slightly raised from the level of the bedroom carpet, to the point that both my wife and I caught our toes on it. Other than that it was an excellent visit.

Summary: The hotel from the outside looks quite old and tired but on the inside it was modern and very clean-could not fault it. Breakfast and the service was fantastic.

Summary: Genuinely wonderful stay. Hotel refurbished to a high standard. Pool and fitness area absolutely spotless. Restaurant and breakfast both very good. Best of all were the staff, just fantastic service from beginning to end. Not an unhelpful person, not one person who didn’t go out of their way to make our stay a great one. Will definitely be back.

Summary: Hotel is really nice, bar area welcoming and great design, there is a pool and gym onsite. The room was comfortable and there are extras included bottled water and snacks Couple of bad points. £5 to park over night. The room still have a tub of fruit under the sofa bed not removed from a previous guest We stay in Bristol regularly and would use this hotel again
