Positive: come with breakfast , the front desk staff and cafe staff was very helpful
Negative: although it’s stated a non smoking hotel but it seem that the hotel allows customers to smoke as it still provides tray for cigarettes bud near the lift. we have to change room at around midnight as on 1st night around 11pm the cigarette smoke kept coming into our room and we can’t sleep. the staff who arrange for our move just stand there to stare at us move without helping and afraid that we take the drinking water 😫🙄

Positive: The hotel is okay but it’s definitely overpriced. There is no service from the staff and no English speaking staff available I suppose. There is self service laundry in the Express hotel next to this one. But you have to pay for it. About 1,5 euro for washing and another 1.5 for drying. And it is impossible for someone without WeChat pay.
Negative: Service level. Smoking not prohibited in the lobby or in the building… hotel location is really far from the city.
Summary: Not worth the price but no better choice it seems…

Positive: It is a very new hotel located at Yuan Bao Shan (symbolize by an ingot shape rock on top of the hill) which we can see it from our hotel room. The decor, furniture and equipment are modern and new. Breakfast is plentiful, good varieties and fresh. Opposite to the hotel there is an eat street with lots of options. The musical theatre is also located opposite to the hotel by crossing a pedestrian bridge. The lighting, bed, pillow are comfortable. There are bus stops located conveniently near the hotel will take you straight to city center or the Unesco World Heritage Chengde Summer Palace and all other main attractions. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We are happy and appreciative with the daily room make up and clean by the cleaner.
Negative: The staff are very friendly, welcoming and trying to be helpful but a little inexperience in managing some situations or questions which is understandable, as the hotel is new and the staff maybe newly recruited.
Summary: Beautiful, new and convenient hotel
